How unfortunate the tractors door that evidently was open, when grooming the track met with an incident and splattered glass on the, racing surface most likely causing one hell of a lot of problems for a lot of dogs and their owners.and staff and the R.I.U. With the race being put back one. Who was driving the tractor??? and in the history of greyhound racing has this happened before.? Is this a circus we are watching and backing on or a reality show.. You Know the odds now back them .....

All this time with fine weather to have track ready for todays racing..The first race has to be put back and it looks a mess. Who is responsible or accountable up there?

Look at the report (not that we can take that as being on the mark and correct perhaps as the night panned out) The distance race, the starter never bothered to check the electrical connections after the boxes had been shifted into place, ..How bloody slack is that?!!! There were dogs that were advantaged and disadvantaged by that cock up..fact!!.. The starter shagged up again when he didn't check that the latch (that malfunctioned)was correctly postioned and safe) fact.!!. Surely in such a position, and two obviously blatent cock ups from 13 he has to go.? A big call but the dogs in the inside 1 2 3 were definately disadvantaged with the inside clip of the starting boxes opening prematurely.. My call "A No RACE"....you know the odds now beat them....

Why at Hatrick today the meeting starts at 12.58pm and finishes at 4.20pm . There is a huge gap of over 30 mins between races apart from the last two which are a little less. Does the person ultimately responsible, care a shit about the staff, trainers and most importantly the dogs themselves.? Who actually is responsible for such a selfish decision that, while helping the T.A.B. fill in time slots does not take into account dogs that could be in a trailer or van for up to 4hours 20 mins plus in perhaps very hot humid conditions with not ONE shady area at Hatrick to escape this unfair and unthought of situation. Would the person responsible for this please perhaps explain why . It is possibly an animal welfare issue for sure.
