I remember the 1&2YA days then ZB, Radio Pacific etc. Then tell me why some non racing upstart at RITA decides Radio must go. No consultation, reorganization no nothing. $2M is not huge deficit to overcome with better management. Where is Saundry? Surely he should be putting forward a case.
Its obvious RITA are trying to kill NZ racing. Why on a Saturday on a day with plenty NZ and Australian racing when you check for upcoming races on the website you only get the following MOHAWK, EVANGELINE, CHARLES TOWN, NORTHFIELD, DEL MAR, THE MEADOWLANDS. Thats not in the morning but afternoon when NZ and Australia in full swing. I doubt anywhere in USA you get all those nondescript betting options. Then we move on to Japan & Korea. I haven't met one person yet who knows about just one horse in these locations. Possibly in the early hours a few may be interested in UK racing so the TAB often knocks UK on the head.

2 million annual isn’t it ? Be nice to have the racing back on the radio a lot user friendly when at work and not having items on or in your ears and worrying about your ph going flat constantly.Ohhh the simplicity of the radio .

Last race today was 4.35pm so as you’d expect went to buy a beer just after 4 pm to be told sorry bars closed . Your bloody joking I said still 30 mins till the last was the reply .Look  she says there’s a sign on the fridge . What about your sign on the bar that says bars closed straight after they jump in the last is my  reply . Sorry  sir it’s closed . Well F me do you want customers or not ?
