14 starters and the lowest is a rating 74 horse 

Yeah seems strange to spend so much on a track that is so far off the beaten track for most.heard D logan saying they will be racing up there every second weekend next year be interesting to see how many trainers will travel that distance so regularly.We could be in danger of seeing  to many of the same horse pool  from the same trainers competing fortnightly.

I think it sounds stupid when they talk about bad results for the TAB if such and such wins, really makes it sound punter vs TAB and instead of encouraging punting for the punters to win ie being positive about it, it comes across like they hate it when punters win and continues this "brilliant" job they have been doing lately of keeping betting money in NZ - with all that negativity who wants a TAB account here? Someone needs to read a manual on positive reinforcement on behaviour and good marketing!

Why would Poverty Bay sell up their assets to pay for a racecourse 200kms away from their local community?

First mare today was calling Katie Mckeen in 3rd when it clearly won.
Worse was to come in the last had a place on Pheasant and was abit peeved to here it ran last.Just checked the results and bloody heck it ran third so went and watched the replay mike has it in his call 100 out challenging then as they cross the line it's clearly third this goes over mikes head and calls it in last.
