Awesome story - hope he can win it as it is a movie in the making for sure if he does - absolute rags to riches!

Thanks . And the races selected will be great as well. I wonder if syndicates like BGP will get involved?

It's going to be an epic race. I like Atishu and Legato but how can you not also like Mr Brightside, Pride Of Jenni and Cascadian.

Not sure about Legarto’s hooves (pads on they tell me) but I’ll still risk them (the hooves) in the competition.
In last year’s form they wouldn’t beat her.

Great to hear that Prowess may be making a surprise comeback. Recovered brilliantly from her laminitis apparently.

People will now be arguing for years to come: Did Warren Kennedy ride six or seven winners on New Years Day 2024?

I love the story, yes a big fan, hope he races well in the World Cup. I didn't know much about Kazakhstan so did some research.
In Kazakhstan, horses hold a special place in the hearts of the people. Let’s explore their deep connection with these magnificent animals:
Domestication: The Kazakhs are modern-day descendants of the ancient steppe nomads who domesticated horses 6,000 years ago. These herdsmen have a rich heritage tied to these noble creatures. Horse Meat: Horse meat is a staple in the Kazakh diet. Dishes like beshbarmak (boiled horse meat served on noodles) and kazy (horse sausage) are enjoyed during celebrations and to honor guests 🤢 -

It's better to regret selling than regret not selling. Seven figures for a gelding when you own the dam and most of the siblings is an easy sell. Even if (IF) he comes out and wins the Caulfield Guineas and the Kiwi next year you'd still struggle to be mad that you sold.

His record is 5 starts 4 wins and a 2nd. First 2 races in Kazakhstan then raced in Russia once and last 2 starts at Meydan. Earnings are £527,345

Insider got a reaction from JJ Flash in GOLDEN SLIPPER 2024
My horse to come out of the race for the Sires or Champagne Stakes is Traffic Warden, excluding of course Storm Boy.
I doubt Lady Camelot will be there as she has nothing more to prove as a two year old, plus she ran in the Blue Diamond.
I read this morning that Lady Camelot is the 3rd foal of the dam. The other two are also Sydney 2 year old Group/Stakes Winners.
Three for three, amazing when you look at the list of original entries for The Golden Slipper.

Yes. Friends had a small share in him but it all went wrong.

Good point. If I owned the horse and it couldn’t race for a month or two I would almost certainly consider suing the trainers for loss of income. That might make the trainers and vets sit up and take a bit of notice.

Unless of course it was the Avondale committee, in which case your head would be spinning!

A great addition to the NZ stallion ranks, being from the same female family as Redoute's Choice.
