Lloyd Vivian got a reaction from Baz (NZ) in Volksraad as a broodmare sire
So interested to see the figure for Prized. [being President and Chairman of the Fan Club!!] I think he will be real good broodmare sire and from limited numbers has produced some top horses already.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to Leggy in Weir waves the white flag
I thought police were charged with enforcing all areas of the law, not just violent crimes, theft and serious drug offences. Should they ignore white collar crime to expend more resources on violent crime?

Seriously P4P? So Olga was sitting on his face when Stormy was not pulling his pud? The reality was that that duplicitous bitch Clinton was unelectable despite the media love-fest-.Not saying Trump is a desirable character but Hilary Clinton is obnoxious and dangerous in the extreme. JMO

Lloyd Vivian reacted to scooby3051 in Weir waves the white flag
You make some valid points ...i think it is more than just a disgruntled employee...it was a full blown investigation for a few months..anyway it will all come out in the wash so to speak...but he should have considered all the peoples lives he had in his hands before trying to circumvent the rules of racing...JMO...i think there needs to be a level playing field for everyone involved in racing...

Lloyd Vivian reacted to scooby3051 in Weir waves the white flag
Tend to agree 4 years seems very light.based on what others got and how much damage this has done to the industry...its not his first rodeo...does the industry really want or need people like this involved???Is it a good look???JMO. Dont know the bloke from Adam but this is a serious breach of the rules and hugely damaging to the image of the sport.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to poundforpound in Sales Washup
Ouch......I was actually heading down the Justin Bieber track ( hair by Rodney Wayne if that matters, products by Redken ) rather than that other orange fucker.
I wouldn’t go throwing too many stones in your lil’ ol’ glasshouse anyway, my head of hair is luxurious, and it’s all mine, as genuine as Consensus.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to gubellini in Sales Washup
Hey Leo those grey hairs must look impressive on the floor of a Rodney Wayne establishment! All jokes aside what a wonderfully genuine mare Consensus is.

I believe PoundForPound would call us Nillers! Which has to be better than losers?
-
Lloyd Vivian reacted to chevy86 in Sales Washup
Don't come the delicate snowflake shit. Why not chose the optimist tag? Truth be known we are ALL losers for being ensnared by an activity where your funds ultimately only head one way so lighten up.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to Memphis2 in Sales Washup
Tha'ts the problem with forums and texts. Its impossible to gauge the sentiment that is involved with a particular posting.
People get it all wrong then it turns into a bun fight.
When you are actually talking to someone it's obvious.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to chevy86 in Sales Washup
And my tongue-in-cheek posting obviously by-passed the cranium of a few as I was suggesting a meeting as I will be scouting for a horse myself!

Lloyd Vivian reacted to We're Doomed in Well Done Team Pitman
It isn't Auckland. You can win the Telegraph from out there. She wasn't good enough. The trackside presenters talked her up as a certainty, so they obviously weren't worried about the barrier draw.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to uneasy in Well Done Team Pitman
I hope the handicapper rates him as highly as those that selected horses for last years sprinter/miler HOTY awards

Congrats Team Pitmans .... Outstanding effort !!

Lloyd Vivian reacted to Chestnut in Hesi Spits the Dummy
Here's a challenge.. just give it a rest.. just focus on racing and not on what other websites are doing.. because I can't be bothered with this crap anymore.. people will go wherever they want to go but if you want to make people avoid reading posts and taking part in a forum, using it to abuse another or continuously go on about another racing site, is a good way to piss people off and push them the other way.
Is everyone's life so bad that the only enjoyment they can get is putting down other people so they feel worse than you do? I'd hope not, and worse if you get enjoyment from doing it for no other reason than abusing someone else.

Lloyd Vivian reacted to Baz (NZ) in Fall at Trentham
Shauni was very lucky not to have been more seriously injured. He has however got a broken nose as a result but should be back at the track on Wednesday...tough these Jocks!

Lloyd Vivian reacted to Trump in Sir Steve Davis and his Auctioneering Skills
It’s a bit like comparing Phar Lap with Winx. What’s the point? Steve Davis is the best of his time - period. The best of them today, no comparison.

The Magic Millions Gold Coast Sale 2019 after two days has been extraordinary.
Their Live Coverage web site is Yearling focused, with huge screen back ground footage of the yearling in its own environment.
The video footage of the lot in the ring focuses on the horse.
It may encourage off site bidders.
NOT on who is bidding.
I truly appreciate Dave Ellis's sponsorship of the last 6 years of the Karaka Sales on line coverage.
Will our Karaka yearling Sales next month 2019 match the investment into a vibrant Australian Racing environment ?
2018 was a record sale per Average sale For Gerry and GCMM and god knows what percentage increase
will happen this year 2019.
Steve Davis has unique auctioneering skills
.He has the lowest" pass in rate "of any Thoroughbred auctioneer since 2014.
Those stats are for Karaka, Gold Coast, South Africa.
His voice modulation and pitch , verbal frequency, bullshit and knowledge and sheer charisma
My vote for the best Auctioneer we have ever had.
Steve Davis
Peter Kelly, Jo Walls ,Rev Somervell
Stu Hale rated 2233rd in Australasia.
Rate your auctioneers here on this post .

Lloyd Vivian reacted to gubellini in Winner disqualified to 2nd
High Sparrow Prise De Fer was on one rein in the last 100m of the race. Very difficult for Opie to straighten him up. However the wider issue for me is that any other rider would have been either fined or suspended. We need a Messara type report into the RIU and the JCA. Yet again we see an A Lister like Opie get the velvet glove treatment from these bodies while for lack of a better term B Listers like Trudy Thornton and Bridget Grylls get the iron fist treatment. I have no beef with Opie. I consider him to be the best rider in NZ. However it is high time that the RIU and the JCA treated every licence holder equally.
