Sorry PJ - I have just seen that the race is R6, not R7. Can I please make R8 selections 3, 5 (1)
Really sorry about this.

Sorry PJ, I just realised I have made a typo. My R8 numbers should be, 3, 8 (11).

Anchor In, a colt by Sea Anchor out of a Ruling mare Cazna won the Castlemaine back in 82 or 83 from memory. May have only been a G2 then. He was real top horse and Sea Anchor's first Stakeswinner. He was a certainty beaten in the Ellerslie Sires Produce behind Andretti just prior to going over for the Castlemaine...

Awesome job Thunderbirds! Well done. Thanks for carrying me today; I'm so sorry my contribution was so measly - from Man of the Match last week to Worst Score Table today...
Well done Betty - too good for me today.

Hi Lloyd,
Apologies for the late reply.
Have a great time skiing with the family. We lost nineteen local road bridges here in the last three days of the recent floods and storms. Plenty of homesteads and quality beef and dairy properties lost under water. The local community lost a wonderful elderly man. His loss, makes you think about things. With all this water on our East Coast. You can just imagine what sort of Winter some local folks are in for. Wonder how PJ's Hunter Horse Region fared in the storms. Lloyd, good luck for the remainder of PJ's tipping competition.
Cheers Wrinkles - sorry to hear about the flood damage in your area and the sad loss of life. Tough times indeed. All the best to you for the Comp also. You've got a good man at the helm!

Lloyd, it felt like a real banality performance due i suppose to the two day bad weather lay over. Your Thunderbirds put in a good team effort. Well done ! I trust you had plenty of luck with your fishing endeavours.
Cheers Wrinkles... I thought I had you there for a while but you blitzed me in one fell swoop! Wasn't actually fishing this weekend, [ was away at a Church Conference actually], but got a month or so at home now being domestic and mowing my lawns etc etc!! Next time away will be a few days away with the kids skiing in mid-July..

Cheers Hesi - a tough match today. Yes, it appears our marvelous Captain Cubes indeed suffered a rare 'wardrobe malfunction' today, but at 11/2 we've resolved to never mention it outside the dressing room again. I shudder to think what this will mean for his hapless opponent next week.... Well done Thunderbirds! How's that Heather aye???!!! 8 winners!!
