  1. you are obviously a GREEN supporter and got no idea about business promotion and enterprise, it was a great promotion for Brighthill Stud and paid the difference to normal charges, any beers were available and wine with a very good crowd in attendance, this promotion was from 11am to 1pm, you should do your homework or research before you open your big mouth, by the way Butch is and will do a great job for Te Rapa
  2. yes i Raced OUR BEEKAY with Ian and Bruce Marsh after the horse was disqualified after 5 wins went back to maidens and won 5 more in a row for us, he has raced other horses from the Marsh stable
  3. As I understand the Trackside frequencies have already been sold so dont think we will see trackside for a long time if ever.
  4. The Deep Field colt is extra good Jason Waddell got off him after trial and labeled him disputably the best 2yr old in NZ at the moment told the owner to enter him in Wellesley Stakes he would win
  5. he yes you are right many years ago who is this my guess is when the Alsatian chased me and only place was up on the roof of my car, the dog not care about the paint work on the car either thank god he could not jump high, am I correct
  6. I had a quote on Madison County as well, the asking price was $2.2 million and they had a interest at that money but unfortunately the prospective buyer got cold feet at the last moment and walked away not completing, my buyer gave it a couple of days thought but he thought it was to dear, after all he is a gelding not a colt, also everyone was told there was no movement in the asking price and not been a big horse this also affected a lot of interest, I have always said if they are good enough then they are big enough, I raced a horse once with a HK mate called Russian Pearl who was 15.2 flat out, he won G1 in NZ and a G1 in HK as well as second in the HK Derby
  7. yes this was a NZ record for a private sale of a racehorse but was told the syndicate wanted to race on, it is their horse, their decision and we respected that, in the syndicate agreement MB does have to be sold at her retirement, she is a great mare and carries an international rating of 118, unbelievably the same as Danzdanzdance, cheers
  8. Hi I am a bloodstock agent and for Baz (whoever you are) sake, it was myself who made the offer of $3.250 million on behalf of a very powerful international syndicate for Melody Belle, it was a very genuine offer and net to the MB syndicate, I put this here to clear any misunderstanding comments, I had made a $3 million offer prior to the Bonecrusher, cheers
  9. I have a very nice 3yr gelding that has had to be retired he is black brown and very attractive, a good home is required, call me Stuart Hale on 0274 920975
  10. Jess we have not gone that far yet, maybe if I find another I will, I am a great believer in buying the horse when you see it not when u want it thats how we got beely I spotted him and went after him could not believe the price just service fee.
  11. He will be boxed at Natalie's for 2 to 3 weeks and then it is her choice as to his place of retirement am sure she would like to find a happy home for him that she could also keep in touch. Just on that note of retirement I raced a horse called Class Of Sixtytwo and he is competing at the horse trials at Taupo this weekend and is now a 1 star grade heading to the top of 3 day eventing, he is a son of Pupil who now stands in Gisborne so there is good life after racing.
  12. yes I can confirm Six O'Clock News has been retired after his last start in Brisbane, it wasnt the best of rides by Nash but wat to do when absolutely no pace in the race and he hates his striding interupted so he had no choice, Beely never got the best of lucks during his very good career so this run was just another one of those no runs, if the pace was on he was always right there at the finish, wat a run he gave us in the Auckland cup it would have been a record win with that weight if he had won we were happy with 3rd. He suffered a tendon injury after that his last run and has arrived back in NZ for a much earned happy retirement, on behalf of the syndicate I would like to thank Trent and Natalie, and particularly Natalie who never left his side, did all his track work and even when the chips were down kept a positive outlook for the syndicate and it paid off in a big way, signed manager.
  13. he has been here at Kensei Lodge in Gortons Rd for nearly 3 years but looks like he has found a very happy home in Gisborne thanks to zzz and his team here at Racecafe and I am sure Pupil is very grateful for his new abode rather than where he may have had to go, I have been told he will be collected on Sunday so I hope all goes well for him thanks.
  14. Pupil was sold to Queensland 12 months ago and a good deposit was paid at that time but now 12 months down the track the purchaser cannot complete because of personal problems and I have given him plenty of time so I have to do something. I have passed word around and he is such a good mate, has given no trouble in the 2 years here, he looks tremendous and has the temperament of a farm hack, things are happening for him to, Lloyd Williams has a half brother by Gallizzz that he has said will be a star this season and one of his progeny ZOOM is potential black print in Australia as well, he was a $A500k yearling which says something for his breeding and great looks and I think he also would make a great sports horse sire as well. I now have to make way for all my little Rios's coming along and having a stallion around just doesnt work and I dont really want to send him to the pearly gates cus he has been a great mate and would appreciate any help, he is only 12 yrs old and ready for business
  15. Thanks John, at this stage he is the only son of Hussonet to stand in NZ, his dam sire is also a very successful sire of sires in NZ, what is O'Reilly by?Call me John if your want further details thanks.
