  1. And not only did he breed the best racehorses (including Danehill by the way, which he bred and raced before selling to Coolmore as a stallion), he kept them racing way beyond the time Coolmore or Godolphin would retire them, e.g. Frankel and Enable. He must have just loved racing.
  2. Something like this perhaps? https://www.tattersalls.com/sales/december-mare-sale/4DCGI/Sale/DEM 20/Main/Overview
  3. https://gavelhouse.co.nz/lot/434193/dance-on-by Regardless of results to date, this looks a decent foundation mare for a hobby breeder with $20k or so to kick off with... The pressure is off her producing a Dundeel, so there must be some upside. If it was me (it's not) I'd think of sending her to as well bred but reasonably priced stallion as I could find, e.g. Zed, He's Remarkable, Bold One. And it might still be that her progeny in work will turn out well, or her dam daughters produce a decent horse.
  4. RTF was not a runner, but obviously he’s by Sadlers Wells and his dam has left 5 group one winners (4 by Danehill and one by Green Desert) plus one G2 winner Dansili, who himself has sired an Arc winner, and then Raise the Flag. So, I’m with that judge. And for for $4k, if you had a Danehill line mare and didn’t mind an eternal float ride, why wouldn’t you? Patience is key. Etah James is racing at her very best right now. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.racingpost.com/bloodstock/hasili-influence-deepens-as-son-raise-the-flag-supplies-first-group-1-winner/431457/amp
  5. Thank you all - I've tried via my TAB account but it's saying stream unavailable. Not sure if that's because of timing. WIll check out loveracing.
  6. Hi there - I am wanting to watch the Auckland Cup from her ein London and wondered whether Trackside was accessible from here, or if I can view it on some other channel or website? Thank you.
  7. While I would l have thought having to explain the names probably meant they weren't really suitable, I've been swung by Hedley's Bjorn based entries. Though I'm not sure if he's a tennis or an Abba fan. Anyway... Entre Nous ("Between us" in one of Switzerland's languages) I'm Fondue (Just Between you and me, mashed up with the finest Swiss cuisine). Cuckoo (as in, erm, clock, Switzerland's outstanding contribution to world culture). Alpine Racer (you'll get the idea)
