  1. Hi Biff, I don't want to have a public spat with you hence this private message.

I my opinion you are wrong regarding Tony Pike.

He's the best guy for the position, an outstanding trainer and well educated too.

    You name me someone better.

P.S. It's not that easy over the ditch either, I should know as I have just had a Savabeel with Kris Lees for very little in the way of results, sold two weeks ago on Bloodstock Auction.com for $18,250 and I go back to having one with Bart Cummings around the time of Let's Elope.

Well Insider you are entitled to your opine, that's what makes the world go round, as for over the ditch, I should know also, I trained at Flemington when Let's Elope was there, in fact Bart was our next door neighbour, or rather Leon as Bart was never there.......Dean used to strap LE and my missus walked her home from the track some mornings in exchange for Leon bringing our gear home on their truck. Tony Pike isn't going to scream too loudly, he's doing nicely and can flee over the ditch on his terms. It's the poor buggers that can'y that upsets me....Anyway, Merry Christmas, hope your horses earn a cheque or 3.

This is the opinion that NZTR got from Bell Gully in 2010. Note the addressee.

  3. Just wondering what you are up too. Having seen you on here for a month odd. Hope all is well. Maybe a business trip you are on

Hello, no business trip this time, just got the shits…….with management actually, however time heals most things so about to reply to a post…….as I'm now a licensed trainer here, I'll need to curb my enthusiasm, my missus on the other hand lets rip, no holds barred. Thank you for asking after me, all the best to you too.

  4. Hi Biff

I don't want to put this on the thread but my thinking if Reefton was to fold is that we remain an incorporated society but forgo our race meeting and maybe change our name to the Reefton Sports Park Inc.  We are then no longer a racing club so the Racing Act does not apply.  Our asset as I have said many times belongs to the people of Reefton not the NZ racing Industry and I am determined if the worst comes to the worst that the community will get the spoils.

I might add I myself come from Greymouth so no benefit even indirectly to me.

If however we had adopted that constitution it would be bloody hard to change it somewhere down the track

It is a double edged sword in a lot of ways but as I said if those wankers in Petone were actually working for the industry you would not mind so much.

Thanks for the membership offer though.

    regards

    Brian Molloy

      Hi Brian,

understood and duly noted! Good luck with whatever path you choose.

Agree re wankers in Petone, the farce is getting worse, self agenda aplenty there.

      Cheers and best,

      Barry Wallace
