Not sure greyhounds will recover from this, lots of greyhounds have been retired in the UK, Probably going to loose a few more tracks. Auckland track will close in NZ sooner rather than later. The TAB are also giving me free bets to keep me interested.They must be haemorrhaging dosh left right and center. Best of luck to everyone involved.

I for one think we should only have a maximum of 6 dogs in a race, would be better for all concerned especially the Dog.

QLD are looking to get rid of the FOL as they have a few trainers who dont like it and are constantly complaining in all the greyhound media With only 2 tracks in South East QLd, without the FOL the will be in trouble as the dogs will get bored very quickly (which was the reason that the bought the FOL in there in the first place) I would agree with trainers who would like to go back to catching pens, too many dogs are injured at the end of races here in NZ.
