What a way to reward the loyal punter. And they wonder why people are betting offshore which they now intend to stop.

Does he do any research before he comes on trackside? Listened to him yesterday and he was bleating on about Scapolo carrying 56.5 in the sprint at Rotorua. Unless Rosie Myers can become an apprentice again that wont happen its got 59. He them went on about Natuzzi having had one trial since being back in at Avondale hes had another more recent trial at Ruakaka 2nd behind Rocanto.

Ardern is a communist who has never held a job in the real world and thinks that taxing more and spending more will fix everything.  She has just been talking about eliminating child poverty and making waterways clean. Are those really serious enough problems in NZ to change government over?  Things were going pretty well and NZ was the envy of most other developed countries in running a budget surplus and having a strong economy and providing jobs for New Zealanders.  As soon as this decision was announced the NZ dollar fell, which will mean all imports are more expensive.  Yea a few breeders who sell on the Asian market may benefit but this is pretty much limited to a few of the bigger players in the breeding industry.  See how much flows down to the small time breeders and owners.  Labour and the Greens are not supporters of racing, particularly the Greens.  They see it as elitist and the Greens will be wanting to ban jumps racing the minute they see a horse break down.
Peters is just an opportunist only out for what he can get for himself.  At his age this is probably his last throw of the dice so he doesn't care what damage he causes to his party or the country.  He lost his seat so now he  is out for all he can get before he retires to Kerikeri.  He may have snared the Racing Minister job but only so he can swan around in the Presidents Room at Ellerslie on Boxing Day, drinking free whisky.  Don't see him undertaking any major overhaul of racing.  What he did last time around hasn't saved racing.

It has been clear for many years that the Stipes have specifically targetted C. Johnson  at any given oppportunity , it is clear they have exaggerated and or  fabricated  charges against him when other riders have had infringements totally ignored  or written up in reports  as " moved in under pressure " or similar .
 Name dropper and  Australian bully Cameron George just loved to smash Johnson  for anything and everything  any way he could until things got a bit hot for him and he moved on .
I note in this JCA Report the horse Johnson was riding ( Pipi Rea ) was Vet inspected post race and found to be sore in the off-fore , this surely would have had a bearing on this case , further i have studied slo-mo replays of the incident and i CANT see Johnson delibirately  pulling the left reign .... the reigns are loose at all times ????
