  1. The thing is Tucker only pretends to be up Trumps arse for his viewership. He's stated privately that he "hates Donald Trump."

This is the main thing to come out of the Dominion settlement. Fox hosts Hennesy, Carlson, Kilmeade, etc, don't actually believe what they promote. They are happy to tell lies, in order to keep their ratings up. Bear that in mind the next time you watch them rant about some topic.

  2. Fox News tells lies!

What we've always known to be true. Fox News paid out Dominion Voting Systems, because Fox was,  "knowingly broadcasting something false" or " wilfully disregarding facts".

Fox's defence was basically - President Trump was telling lies and we just reported it.

We have a junior relative was a NZ champ. At a meet  a woman ran a NZ record  time. The lad said If I self identify as a female athlete I would have the record.

Not now he wouldn't. Seb Coe has just announced changes in athletics, so this can no longer occur. Tell your relative to stop growing his hair and shaving his legs.

  4. Reason has it wrong. He sees the problem as coming from the top and trickling down (i.e Super rugby is boring so people are losing interest in rugby)

The real problem is at the grassroots. Kids preferring gaming, playing Bball, football etc; Mum's worried about concussion; good school players being poached by "rugby schools"; etc etc.

    It trickles up; not down.

Note the crowds, note the scores, an average game and a average competition is Super Rugby, I only watch the odd clip on news or you tube, tells a story.

Chiefs v Crusaders; Fijian Drua v Crusaders; Blues v Crusaders. Three top games you missed right there Mike. One team the common denominator!

I think it was the NPC provinces themselves who wanted the switch to one division. Stand to be corrected though.

  6. I think this "continuity" only really started with Steve Hansen succeeding Ted Henry, and then carried on with Ian Foster succeeding Hansen.

The problem was/is that Hansen was a genuine Head Coach in the waiting, whereas Foster was probably never more than "assistant coach" standard.

Given it's the Head Coach who brings in his assistants, the concept is flawed, because it's basically the current Head Coach selecting his successor.

We’ve got Mahuta visiting China though Blue…while Xi buggers off to visit mate Putin….and avoid her presumably……

Nanaia Mahuta is meeting with her Chinese equivalent, Qin Gang. Primarily to discuss trade, given they remain our biggest trading partner.

I wasn't going to post but after reading all that has been said i think i should give my five cents worth, and yes i did have a horse in at Awapuni on Saturday that didn't get to race,

First off i did walk part of the course before the first race and said to the other owners i didn't think the races would continue because the track was so hard underneath, this to me was totally avoidable as any farmer would tell you, we came off a very wet winter with sodden ground and then it dried out to quick thus baking the top that doesn't allow water into the sub soil  so 10 mil of irrigation a day was never going to do jack sh-t , track should have been spiked more than a week ago allowing water beneath the top 5-10 mil, not brain science, and probably the amount of rolling of the track after the last meeting has contributed to the problem significantly.

I thought this and the post under it by Contentious, sounded the best advice I have read. It doesn't seem that hard, unless the Track Manager doesn't have the equipment to action it.

The other thing I was thinking, involved keeping the punters onside., Why didn't they just shift the races, rated R75 and below, to the synthetic track? Sure there'd have been scratchings, but at least the Racing Club would put on some sort of a meeting.

    Conspiracy theorists, be careful.....

Jury decides conspiracy theorist Alex Jones should pay nearly $1 billion in damages to Sandy Hook families for his lies about the school massacre

He is an awful man, lucky he lives in a country where he is allowed to talk bullshit, no matter how hurtful that might be to bereaved family of little kids.

  10. I wish I had some alarmist stories to tell like Billy Goat Gruff. But unfortunately I do not.

I'm happy to report that no one I know personally, or have heard about second hand in the area I live, has suffered any complications from having a dose of the Pfizer vaccine.

No family, no work mates, no one in my community. No one!!

  11. Talk of the Little Ice Age (not the mini ice age) in this thread is appropriate, because Tripple Alliance is parroting Donald Trump's view on climate change.

This being, that their have always been climate fluctuations; what we are experiencing now is nothing new; and the effects of increased industrialisation and forest clearance are not the cause of climate warming and and so, can continue unabated.

Any scientist (and there aren't many) who agree with Donald T and TA are lauded by them. Any who scientists who disagree with Tump and TA, are dismissed as fake, disingenuous, compromised and/or part of a self-serving conspiracy.

Once you raise "conspiracy theories" you're dealing with people who want the facts to suit their own narrative. They're either manipulative (Donald Trump) or deluded (Tripple A, 100-1, 6xes).

True but now Putins mob want the Ukrainiums who are supposedly part of his new Russia, [scam] to fight for Russia, what a deluded muppet.

"Thank you for voting young man. You are now a part of my great Russian Empire. As such, we have a war to win, so here is a rifle and a map showing the way to the front line."

  13. Yeah, fair call about crowds generally. I think it's a culture thing here in NZ. Look at Melbourne by comparison. I lived there for some years and there was just a mindset along the lines of, "big game or race meeting at the weekend and we're going to be there."

That Shield match in Wellington only got 3,000 through the gate. 3,000!!! to a Shield match, with former All Blacks and some nice up and comers playing. What do ya do?
