200 a month per 10% share is normal and is what we pay. Costs 1800 a month for trainer and sometimes we have upto $600 in other costs - jumpouts, races, transport etc etc. Luckily the account builds up during spells as $2000 a month nowhere near covers a horse that is racing

I believe it is justified. Only about half what a jockey gets for essentially the same job

I have half a dozen from Canterbury in 1983. Out of interest - How much are they worth as a collectors item....they look as good as the day we bought them. Must have been one of the last days of the old ticketing system for me to have kept them. Probably wouldnt part with them though.
