  1. That's breaking news, me aggressive !!! First time ever
  2. Really ? They read the CVs and evaluate the candidates before the meeting, their work was done and they gave xxx their proxy with instructions. Some of these guys have a demanding life outside of racing politics FFS, stop hassling them. Besides, when the last candidate was up for selection Fockered and Guppy told the other members to read the CVs but then to shut up and back off because this was just a charade and they had already decided Roger Finlay was getting the nod. Blame the WRC and those two for the rorts and chicanery, they've let the WRC fade into oblivion with bad decisions and it appears ( based on the Finlay case ) they're happy to do the same to NZTR now.
  3. You shouldn't be hearing anything everyone knows they're only supposed to leak to me
  4. His vote was cast by someone else as a proxy, as was Paul Kenny's, so he was effectively represented. I've spoken to five different members of the MC and they all voted for Dean McKenzie. It'll take a major act of fraud or chicanery to not elect him, but hey, if Fockerd and Guppy are involved in the decision making they could do anything.
  5. The last thing we need is more amateurs from within the club system. That model has failed us badly already, professionals who join a racing club as a hobby have zero right to rule over those who derive a living from the game. Would the NZRFU let provincial clubs run Super Rugby or the All Blacks ?
  6. This round of the comp will close at 6.19pm this Saturday
  7. This weeks twist is..... You can only lay at Randwick, and you can lay on any ONE of the following races, or on all THREE. R6 Premier Stakes R7 Epsom R8 Metropolitan All races are for triple points, so you either lay on ONE race only, or you lay on all THREE. If you lay on all three it's the triple points from each race ADDED together. If you make a fxxk up and pick any winner it counts as a lost life...I don't need to tell you what happens if you pick two that win..... Non posters are eliminated. Good luck to you all.
  8. Interesting study though, I know McIlwraith and he's a serious academic, and a very good surgeon. The obvious questions that need to be answered would be whether we're actually recognizing injuries ( the stipes that is ) and recording them properly, and the relationship between say AW / artificial tracks and shearing injuries, as you see so often in North America.
  9. Ok, Chataqua with a joker was 110 points, how many did I actually give you and what have I left you short ? Just give me a net figure that I need to add to your existing score to right the wrongs. Thanks
  10. NZTR will issue a press release later today advising that t/o is only just a little bit red, and that new TAB accounts are being opened in record numbers, and that all members of NZTR staff are safe after the Mexican earthquake.
  11. I'm doing my best here team but let me tell you this is incredibly frustrating and I think this'll definitely be my last comp. Unfortunately I've got another life, and a substantial business to run. Clearly I'm not up to this job because I'm too busy so why don't one of you persistent complainers do the scoring yourselves ? You seem to have all the time in the world to remind me every week who took what and where I'm wrong so surely it follows that you should be able to help with the scoring. Please advise when you're taking over. Thanks.
  12. Misread my notes, read 0 instead of 6, should be 267, I'll sort that

  14. My mistake, gave you double instead of treble, should've been 48 points and that puts you on 293
  15. You're on 388.9 I don't mind teachers, I've got about 100 kids !! Teachers do a great job.
  16. Ok, here we go, results after week 4 follow. As usual it'll be a shit show so just be nice, point out my mistakes and I'll sort them. I note we had a lot of DNP ( did not post ) mostly down the bottom end. Let's agree that any further DNPs will be eliminated. Points of interest this week, two of the top three got chutneyed backing Labour ( losers ) Dillo was rock solid with another Best Bet loser. CT is still in the comp....and I'm really nervous about that. An asterix means you've lost a life. Here we go now. Premixer 424.4 Tasman Man 384.9 D Burrow 367.5 * dtab 327.3 Newmarket 307.8 CT 299.2 ( oh fuck, please God no, don't do this to me ) Ivan The Great 299.2 South 293.7 Shane McCalister 285.2 ( another mistake in your entry this week, you're taking the piss, one more and you're out ) Scooby 276.9 Black Kirrama 269.2 Rdytdy 267.5 Insider 265.9 Pottsy 207 * Nick 200.5 Steveh 196.2 *Ohokoman 185.2 *Peter Harrop 183 *Napier 173.4 *Gordy 137.4 *Redrew 125.7 *Sayer 124.2 *Bimbo 105.3 *Fostermd 88.9 Dillo 69.2 * Huey 20 *Wrinkles 7 *Mr Gee -1 *Cubes -6 *Talk -13.6 Goodbye to T Notts, Porky, Turny & Sighted
  17. From an analyst this morning, and this is the reason why Winnie will be thinking about leaning toward National, but I still think the Nats & Greens can work together and that'll neutralise Winnie and turn him from a crowing rooster into a feather duster.
  18. Dean McKenzie, and he'd better get the nod or the industry should strike immediately. With Dean & Jason Fleming we're starting to get this show sorted, then McCarthy has to go and we should agree to seek two or three young motivated females/males, say 2:1, with experience in media, IT and governance. Stuff the breeders, the accountants, the money men, replace the lot and let's get current and relevant with our governing body.
  19. Please tell me it's not another fat useless stale male from within the finance ( or associated ) industry ? FFS let's get a young female on there, or someone who'd actually done something in the game. Message me privately and tell me who the standout is please.
  20. What lessons ? Corruption & / or chicanery 101 from Wayne Guppy and John Fockered, or however you spell his name. The Member's Council lost all credibility when they orchestrated the appointment of Alan Jackson, then proved they were further corrupted by appointing Rodger Finlay ahead of far more worthy candidates. There are good people on that council, but the two aforementioned drag the rest down with their low standards and what's been reported as devious chicanery.
