  1. Well thank you sooo much for the occasional scraps that get thrown our way....the paper is only any good now for lining the cat litter box. You must have a pretty easy job being the racing editor when there is no space to print anything?
  2. will soon see who is for the betterment of the code and who is just out to make a few quick bucks then won't we, if you get a meeting at all
  3. a lot of those dogs today should thank the policy as they are lucky to get a start at all, a lot of terrible performances and they would be better off in the GAP programme
  4. i don't think Canterbury will get another track even if they need it, and I dont think this is what it is about at all, despite all your conspiracy theories. It's about what is fair and just, a bit too late for some, altho on the upside there were great races at Palmy yesterday with the sthrn trainers taking some good dogs up there to get there double noms.
  5. Totally agree, not sure why the major papers have dissed the dogs but my subscription has been cancelled for a few months now
  6. Geez some people are paranoid, all we want throughout the whole country (I am from ther Nth) is a fair racing criteria which the Otago and Sthland clubs don't have....hardly a conspiracy theory....I think the number of trainers who DIDNT nominate shows what the majority of trainers think
  7. A fine line between a brilliant ride and a poor won, but what a horse.... Had to stop and start his momentum a number of times but still showed a huge turn of foot...a great win by a great horse!!
  8. Wow, amazing how a Fahey runner grows another leg in a big race and then a week later just another runner hardly a surprise he didn't win.
  9. Jim, as someone who entrusted his dogs in the care of trainers who have since been proven to be incapable to even look after dogs, let alone race them I take your opinion with a grain of salt. You talk of qe11 days, how about getting into this century? I see you are a nominee for the otago board so hardly a surprise you are all forward their discrimatory policy. You seem to have not much to do but sit on the computer all day and comment on everything which is sad for you but guess it gives you something to do, I suggest you get another hobby as greyhound racing in it's current state you obviously have no idea on.
  10. good on them I say, I stopped racing dogs down south because of the policy a long time ago, surprised they put up with it this long. Hopefully the trainers keep sticking together.
  11. Mcinerney would race his dogs on broke glass if it meant he would get a winner, leading trainer my arse! !
  12. Why in a 30000 race on premier day would you put a rider on who has hardly ridden before and gave the owners and punters no chance, poor call from whoever's call it was to put her on
  13. They would of looked like dicks if the lure had broken again with their dogs injured or killed, a stand needed to be taken but they felt the need to take advantage, have gone down in my opinion of them
  14. the joke on the trainers who obviously care about numbers more than the dog, easy to see who has welfare at stake more than the winners cheque, down to you fahey...
  15. Well Ken Barron took 3 down yesterday and all missed a divvy not as easy as you think
