Having been involved in the Carpet Industry for over 30 years I had many dealings with Tony. Certainly in our Industry he was most respected by everyone. A good and fair Business Man with high principles who has left a legacy that will not be seen again. RIP Tony and condolences to his Family

Now that I live in Australia and generally free of all the venom from both sides of the argument I find reading this diatribe quite distressing. None of you really appreciate what a great country you have. That applies to Maori and Pakeha. Maori because they cannot reconcile that they have had the best results from the Treaty of Waitangi Settlements, but they still want more. Too greedy. Pakeha because they make it difficult at times for the two cultures to assimilate. Frankly the whole issue is becoming boring. I'm glad I live in Australia where one mingle with Maori who have no interest in the TOW. They have jobs they enjoy in a climate they enjoy. Do not see too many unhappy Maori here. There is a much larger problem arising and that is the very real threat of Islam. New zealand is not too bad from what I hear but Australians are becoming more alarmed at the silent growth of Islam here. That is a ridiculous statement. Having been one who went to a School where discipline, manners and the knowledge to understand right from wrong I would have to say that you do not know what you are talking about. I was not brainwashed, and I am my own individual person with talents and ideas. Trying to explain them to someone like yourself would be a waste of time.
