  1. I find it quite sad that PM gets his life upturned over mismanagement and with 300 horses on your books that is very easy to happen. The Nazis that is the racing Judiciary have harsher penalties than we have in our society. I think law makers should look to the racing industry to see how they can cut down on crime. Sitting outside looking in they not only penalize the trainer but the owners the staff and a number of other people down the food chain. Owners now have to find new trainers, staff new jobs you think he had killed someone.
  2. My comment was very much tongue in cheek as to a reason why they would relinquish there Monday.
  3. You might fine it was booked out for a wedding. pretty sad when the biggest club with the biggest population cant make a go of it on a public holiday, where we heading.
  4. Funny hope your cat not a man eater. The track yesterday held up so well I have to eat humble pie. from my house to the Avondale track it would be in a straight line 4km give or take and at my house It was fair hosing down. So congrats to Avondale and I was happy to spend a few dollars there to help you out.
  5. You selected a fine beer as I am a loin red drinker. We have a bar in the city where all the office workers come out to play and they have $3 Heinekens for a few hours each day. Clubs which in the West are RSA are around the $5 mark. You sound like you had a great time up here. Good luck with your horse today.
  6. Ted it is fair pissing down here. horses will need flippers today. I thinking that Yorkielad got to live up in those mountains and been smoking something good
  7. Is the hair in the tail going to be first across the line today? I have been out to Avondale many times and even raced a horse there a few years back sadly never got a free beer $5 for a beer can't complain about.
  8. I live in Massey on top of the hill looking over Auckland so get a good view and at the moment I can't see to far for all the rain. Just wondering if your cat needs a mate. I had a cat arrive on my doorstep and couldn't find the owner felt sorry for it gave it a feed and bugger me it don't want to leave.
  9. It is a great club and us westies aren't to bad at making sure people are enjoying themselves sadly the place is a little worn down, if only them lights had worked back in the 80s :(. I glad you had a good experience.
  10. Yorkielad I think you need to change your name to "TUI" Perfect track...Yeah Right!!!! I hope you are right with your track conditions but where I sit and look over towards Avondale it is raining cats and dogs once them 550kgs hooves start running around that real estate it going to start cutting up. Good punting and hope the club has a good day, I will be donating a few dollars to the cause.
  11. Beautiful day for the ducks in paradise, track will be down graded for sure from the dead 4. I be picking a slow track by the 3rd. I just passed through Avondale and was persistence rain gale force winds so jocks need to put on a harness or super glue there pants to the sadle. Lets hope they get through the day.

    Gone

there are days when things just don't go right. I started the day with a few trebles and quads and they were no good had a few little bets and they all went south and then bugger me I get the 100k quad% and I think yippee my luck has changed. I am playing a snooker tournament today so I didn't know there was an inquiry going on, I just thought Im rich. After my game I checked the results and it says inquiry. Sadly the way the day was going on the punt I just knew it would be upheld, so happy face went to sad face. I saw a race from Rosehill and they were going so slow I knew that the track must be off so that ended my day of gambling and those that I liked went no good. Racing, the ups and downs, some days are great and others you need to shut the wallet and wait another day. Off now to see what happened in the race, hope I don't yell at the screen, but sounds like it was a fair call by most of you here so thats racing.
  13. Just brought my last Herald, what I have seen today is a waste of print and paper. What are these f...kin idiots doing to racing. I think they need swabbing to see what drugs they are on. How to ruin racing in 10yrs is the agenda of these morons and I think there going to get there in around 5yrs.
  14. I took screen shots of all there selections and then assess the results later in the day for around 2mths. I can only say one thing after the results and that is turn your TV off and go do something else, they will send you broke and if they believe in there own judgement they be all living in tent city flat broke. There is only one person that I respect and he should have his own show as he has a very good record and that is Ted who gives out his selections to those that ask on this site.
  15. I do agreed with you totally and I have asked the question myself over time with no joy. Maybe if your code is not number 1 you go about providing the punter with what they need. If on the other hand you rule the roost within the 3 codes you don't need to provide so much information. Auckland did trail sectional times. Those results were put up on this site. I made a tread to see what people on here thought about the information an not one person seem to care so gives an indiction that most people just don't care to much.
  16. dear oh dear, 3hrs 15mins thats not quite a slap on the hand and see you later, that is a pretty lengthy serious meeting. Look forward to the result of this one.
  17. You can find them on the NZ Racing site. You just have to have a stop watch and replay the race around 10 times. Wasn't that long ago we only had the radio so we have come a long way in a short time
  18. Good luck tomorrow what a great thrill to even get a horse good enough to race at that level.
  19. I completely forgot to submit my entry last week due to visitors so I will do it while I remember. Meeting 12 Flemington R7 - 5 Xtravagant
  20. R Hannam 4 rides today can he make it 128 since his last win which is of course 124 of today. I play competitive snooker and I can tell you when my confidence is down nothing goes right and when it is up I can play like Ronnie O'Sullivan. I would think jockeys are pretty much the same. Once he gets a winner again, then I will start to look at what he is riding but at the moment I put a line through his rides.
  21. She is a big chance but the day she won at WFA was when the track was off and didn't suit many of the runners. Would wonder if it would have been the same result if it was a good track.
  22. Rangipo has been my pick for some time and I have had some very nice collets. I look at it this way, Vinny has stuck with this horse where he could of ridden The Hassler for Roger James. The trainer (Pike) is one of the best and he wouldn't be starting the horse if he didn't think he wasn't able to stay the distance. Those too factors alone give me alot of confidence. The horse has good early speed to get a nice position and settles. I gave thought to putting a good bet on before Waikato for the derby but I sadly think to negative in respect to the horse not starting. I hate to put money on and see my horse not get to the race so like to bet on the day.
  23. I have to congratulate the Auckland Racing Club on providing the speed maps and also the results of each horses last 600 etc. I yet to see anyone on here making any comment on this subject, is this information not useful to punters and thats why no one cares.
  24. Well deserved, he has been a great ambassador to the sport for so many years. The O'Sullivian family have been the benchmark of racing when I was growing up and always respected.
