  1. Mate, down in the lower grades, she was looking superb. 12L, 9L. As she got higher in class, times have gone from 29.72, margin of 13L ("") to now, 30.39 3/4L. She isn't as flash as she was down in class, still a good bitch, do not get me wrong. To make a call like that where dogs like Freddy John are proven at C5, windburn? LOL. She can be a bit tardy on the jump but the acceleration she shows to the first bend is incredible, but in a race of C5s where 90% of the field are brilliant out of the traps and can run time, she'll need to improve her box manners. Still though, she is a nice bitch, nothign against her, would love to have 2 of her my kennels anyway!
  2. Chance? So it doesnt come down to ability at all?.... Another Gale, Hifi Allegro, the great Little Mother. Race after race they would salute and yet our sport is based on chance? You should be a comedian... I have a couple of dogs that if put in the same race as the above, and the above had fallen over, we still we get beaten by the above. They simply have no chance.
  3. G'day mate. Not sure of the meeting but i remember the first 5 legs of the pick6 being won by number 1.

Kenny. If this is the Plumber one, MUST WATCH!
  5. Could'nt have been won by anyone better! Steve and Kathy are two tops! Very good trainers and thoroughly deserved. Congratulations, and well done Platinum Playboy.

Was horrible. My cup of tea, but actors can't act, there is hardly any humour. They try to hard to be funny it backfires... Any publicity for our sport is great publicity but to do it through a programme where dogs are getting raped or men are getting "" in the toilets... Not a good look.
  7. I reckon it's great. Two greyhound meetings on a Tuesday. Maybe because it's my day off lol, but to top it all off we have a terminating pick6 on the two codes... Hope it happens more often
  8. Trevor Wilkes...A very good caller. No binoculars, still giving an update on how he sees the race panning out whilst the race is running haha. No doubt, 2nd favourite caller for me. Denis Symes no.1 !!!
  9. Scotty Payne is a great man! To bag him on here is heartless also gutless. Not everyone can achieve the same things JT McInerny, B Cole, D Schofield and many other trainers of this calibre, have achieved. For someone to train dogs who were on their "last legs" and turn them into winners is a good trainer to me. Anybody can train a champion, like Frank Ritchie said lol, this man just keeps giving 100% and sticks in through loss after loss, win after win. You're a dick...
  10. She's a very nice puppy mate!! Got on like a silly fool after last weeks 2nd. Paid off!!!!!
  11. Well Mike mate, 10 race day starts and the dog has been strapped. It gets noted down in the papers. This is the Stipes fault as the Stipe had been informed prior to the incident and still requested after 10races (could be wrong; may be less or more) for the dog to have permission to be strapped. When I wanted to strap one of mine, i had to get stipe permission, vet checked, to prove the dog had to be strapped in order to help it perform better and this was noted down in the papers. I can't understand after so many starts why the handler in question is being fined after permission was obviously given. All of a sudden he/she must request permission after permission had been given? LOL, Sorry Mike mate if it doesnt make sense. Have been on the brews for a while, maybe I should've saved the reply for tomorrow... GO MATANUSKA!! :) Cheers
  12. G'Day Lion. I agree a little mate, but I have watched a replay of a race when she missed the jump from the 6 box, no luck approaching first bend but cleaned them up down the back straight. If she misses away, with a bit, A BIT, of luck she can run them raggered! Im all for our representative though, Thrilling Brat all the way! Cheers Mate
  13. Cheers Jibs Was a huge run. A few mates and I formed a syndicate yesterday. After a good days punting, not great but average, yesterday, we got together again today for a few bevs and bets. Dee Kay Em, kept the faith and once again, she was our saving grace!
  14. MATE!!! $$$ That is all
  15. Haha, mate, That is as correct as it comes. The town is named after the river which it lays by am I correct? WHANGANUI You and your boyfriend Michael Laws need to get this through your stubborn old heads!
  16. Adam Meway (Golden Easter Egg finalist) won last night by 2 3/4L in a time of 30.24, 5.07, 17.76... From 9 525m races held last night, only three runners broke 30s. Im no champion when it comes to Aussie times and sectionals as I dont follow them enough, but, from my perspective, I'd say he's on the right track haha.... Here is the box draws for the feature races next Saturday...Miata be hard to beat!! http://www.themeadows.org.au/docs/media/194_boxdrawfeb18.pdf Cheers
  17. FLYING FLYNN is the dog WHANGANUI is the meeting. You use this site often, so surely you can read
  18. LOL mate, my old man got one also. He looked at it and thought for about 20mins about who the groom and bride were, somehow forming a link on how we are related to them. It wasn't until he opened it up and read it thoroughly that he realised we weren't family. Complete waste of money and time, especially when all we needed to know was the middle bit.
  19. Was a good result. But as always, in my case, i miss the last leg lol. I took a $1 treble fd/2/4...
  20. I could be wrong, but i think you have to inform them prior to strapping the dog. If this is the case, and like John said, the dog has been strapped for the last 10 races, surely a Stipe error.
  21. Mate, another impressive win...He's an up and comer as this field was a nice one.
  22. Sorry Clarkie for the late one, hadn't realised it was intended for me until a sober night haha... Most definitely, always have a dollar for this beast of runner. When he finished within 4L of Bigtime Kinvara over 457m at Manawatu, I reserved a place for him. Hope the success continues!! Cheers
  23. Am with you on that one mate...
