  7. HI The mum here I can assure you that the people that we have phoned have not been bullied or abused in any manner. Do you know the full story on this policy, It started with a 2 month trail, but 18 months later after phone call's and letter's from numerous trainers and even a well debated conversion at last years AGM and the meetings held in Canterbury for LP 's with the board only to be pushed under the carpet and ignored. The trainers up here had very little option on what they have done as all resources were burnt out. I feel our South Island rep needs a geography lesson as the last time I looked in a atlas Canterbury was located in the South Island, but we see nothing of this monkey. Hope this is sorted for all concern soon. You would be right in saying if I was threaten I would certainly give them a flogging.
  8. My partner and myself signed the letter that was put forward to the Assn. We have traveled in the past to Southland and also have sent our dogs down there with other trainers, One reason we don’t go is their South Island policy dictates that if we line up at Addington on Thursday or Friday we are not guaranteed to get a start even with dogs with great from. I also don’t support this club due to the fact that Paul Connor continues to be in charge as I have no respect or faith in this lair. Weather we travel or not as trainers we have the right to support our fellow trainers which we will always do. Hope the Industry learns that the trainers need to start being listen to as in many of our Board meetings down in Christchurch with the NZGRA the South Island Policy is always a strong point that they choose to ignore and for us to be quoted by Paul Connor that the Policy will be looked at in August 2012 what a lie. Has the day come that we need a Canterbury Rep for our area as I feel as long as Paul Connor is South Island Rep Canterbury is not going to move forward, as he will only look after his own back yard.
  9. One of our local nomation for the New comer award. Well done alsha with now training a C5 520 dog, as well as having plently of luck with young dogs. Keep up the good work.
  10. I am one of the Authors of this letter I can assure you bblunt we are not responsible for putting this letter on this social media, if that was our intention we would of done so, instead we took the right avenues and shared our concerns with All Clubs and N.Z.G.R.A, racing integrity unit and Minister of racing. It concerns us that we have only heard a response from The Minister of Racing none from any club, board member or integrity unit member. As for your quote on spelling I can only comment on the letters that were send from us were well worded and well spell checked. Bblunt at least we can put our names to our letter and not hide behind a non de plume. We would like to also take the opportunity for thanking all the support from others in the same situation and last but not least for the Board obviously putting enough pressure for payment to be kept up to date.
  11. Well done guys keep up the wins.
  12. well done dyls. Hope there plently more. Keep up the hard work.
  13. Thank you for interest dog has been move on.
  14. Well done Jas for making this public , I have shared this case with others in the sport as it concern me, only to be told Brent Johnston was sending us a lawyers letter for false accusing. He should of never got his license back when the NZGRA removed his dogs a few years back.

They are still continuing to do this so we have decided to donate to assist them to purchase meat for barbequing and any other assistance they are handing out to the people effected.
  18. You are so correct the rule sucks for the gents in the sport but it does look alot more persentable with them tucked in. Guess equal rights are also gone. Lol
  19. Oh my god what a dis respectful person you are, As for people that have water in ChCh from what i have witness they are offering it to people with out it, they are certainly not water a racing track, I are grateful for the people who shops and jobs are still there for them. But it sadnens me that there is people greiving for loss of life. I guess it all very easy for you to type your comments, but I wonder if you have seen the state of ChCh for yourself.
  20. Well said MIke i strongly agree with you. A thank you should go out to Otago Greyhoung Club for their efforts in this time of tragedy for Christchurch. I would not like to think that their would be a quick retun to Addington as homes still have no power, water. etc. There is also the people of ChCh are strongly grieving for there people.
  21. Why would you put that, this thread is for getting funds for many people who lives have been effected in the earth quake. Keep your nastynesss and negative comments of this thread.
