Ive been told from the racing executive that NZRB do not have HD capability at present but they are anticipating updating equipment to enable HD in about 2 years time

Freeview HD do broadcast HD on some selected programmes but not trackside

Why comment on a 2007 report ---this is 2012 and the freeview website is advertizing trackside available on Freeview HD

I have just told you Sky does not broadcast trackside on HD and Freeview does

Now that Freeview HD is broadcasting trackside on high definition it is definitely giving a clearer picture than Sky digital

Is there anyone out there other than me that doesn't like last years re runs & presenters talking about races later on in the card when we are wanting to hear relative information about the race due to run in the next 5 minutes. I think they owe that to the owners and punters.

I agree his funding was terribly misdirected and did nothing for 95% of the racing fraternity. I actually put the Karaka million dollar 2yr race in the same category.

It is a known fact that Katie Lee does not like wet tracks so why take the punters money? Needing the run is not a good enough excuse for starting.
