  1. Agree with this. Sent correspondence to NZTR asking the same question on Monday and have had no response at all - not even an automated reply. These trainers need help to find a suitable property to carry on training from if anyone has any ideas. It is an urgent situation.
  2. Two Faltaat colts being offered at this year's South Island Sale in about 8 weeks time on account of Pear Tree Farm Agistment Ltd - both will be two year olds - ready to break in and go. Keep an eye out for the catalouge.
  3. my thoughts are with Mark - and his family. My husband (35) had a stroke just before SI sales - not good times. rest up and take it easy Mark
  4. Thanks for the postitive feedback. We were really proud of the draft as we headed up to the sales and are delighted to achieve those results. Looking forward to following lot 128 in Hong Kong - he is a stuninning type
  5. He was a superstar. I remember seeing him at Coolmore and he stood and let us adore him and pat him and just looked as if he ruled the world. Beautiful old horse. RIP
  6. terrible form guide in the press. email them and have a whinge - i just have
  7. Dougal and his team do a great job there. They are easy to tallk to and get things done. The gripe is that when we pay to have horses there - we shouldn't have to look for the feed. We fill out the slip of paper that says we are arriving on Tues avo and need hay, water buckets and five bags of assett - it should just be there ready to use. We don't need to be worrying about tracking down feed when we are trying to settle young colts into boxes next to fillies!
  8. we had four horses to be sold with 2 different auctioneers - we actually went and asked for an agent to come and look at our horses and no one bothered to turn up. how can you sell a horse if you haven't looked at it and picked out at least one good point to market? the auctioneer of our first horse, didn't even know about the two half siblings to our colt - one of which was stakes performed in USA....
  9. Pam - well done on your sale. I totally agree with you. *No fencing *Toilets to digusting to use *No feed on arrival *No water buckets *No lighting in our aisle until we tracked some one down to fix it *Not enough food on Thursday - there weren't even that many people there! *Not enough straw *Terrible marketing - a buyer who is a friend of ours from Australia only knew about the sale from us - and found it difficult to get info even online *Moving the sale froward a week was a disaster - it needs to be during the national carnival - not before it I feel totally let down as we paid for a service that we didn't get on Friday
