What's up with the posting times, I know I'm quick but not an hour ahead of myself!

It doesn't take long in this country for the tall poppy to be cut down, mostly by people who wouldn't know what success was if it bit them on the bum but would know envy in a flash. Actually when I think about it, it would be almost impossible for these people to be bitten on the bum as they would never be off it long enough for this to happen.

After seeing what looked like a really bad fall at Moonee Valley last night I'm just amazed that he is back riding today and winning as well. Incredible!!. I guess it just goes to show that falls that look really bad are not always so and those that you think are just a bit of a bump create life threatning injuries.

Meant to post something much earlier than this but got distracted counting the cash. In the space of a hundred metres I was thinking I'm nowhere to my goodness I think it got up. A very underated neddy as its not the first time it's been to Melbourne town and got the cash. Nice ride from D Browne. IMHO it was the finish of the day.

Maybe a copy of this report could be sent to the Chairman of Stewards in Western Australia!!

If you go to the HRNZ website click on results then you will a Stewards Report. This will clear up the matter very nicely for you. It was 2nd vs 1st but a communication error had the 3rd placed horse involved for a time which of course never was the case. No big deal really.

And another winner last night at the valley. HUGE effort from Pizzazz in the last race of the night. Not a bad nag this one

The first 5 words of your post are correct. A sense of humour will take you a long way when using this site. I actually enjoy the aussie racing very much. Most of the time the metro meetings and places like Wyong, Gosford, Cranbourne and Sale just as a few examples have good horses going around on a regular basis. Just as a footnote I do hope the kangaroo population can be kept at bay so that Hanging Rock can go ahead as planned unlike last year.

You go for it, good fields at Towong tomorrow! and if they can keep the kangaroo's off the track you can follow up with Hanging Rock on Sunday.

I do have both trackside channels but a bit difficult to watch from the back end of the section when working in my vege garden. No substitute for the good old radio and ear piece as I become completely oblivious to wife and children!!.

that is what I was doing for a while just a little difficult when I'm on the move in and around the house. Radio now up and going again so thanks to the tech person for that.

In Christchurch is off air and has been all morning. Phoned the station and the person I spoke to knew about it and said that a message has been sent to a tech but no idea when things will be up and running again. This is the second time happened last 10 days.

Thanks Sighted. She is going to have to be very careful or she will end up with no place to ride. On second thoughts she could ride in Western Australia as there are different rules over there.

An old favourite on this site. I note from Racenet that he is about to come back to riding at Sandown next Wednesday after serving a lengthy ban. Hopes to be back riding in Sydney next month.

Not sure what the latest is but note that she is down to ride a Moroney runner at Moonee Valley Friday night.

Wasn't yesterday's Sandown Cup run over the steeplechase course? I guess that will get them used to it for future assignments.
