  1. Jesus Christ, I just read the decision. How the hell did he think he could get away with all this. The guy has an addiction but he had to be made an example of because of the harm he has done to racing. Plenty of scumbags up here in the good old USA. There is a big case that has been going on involving a couple of top thoroughbred trainers and a few harness trainers along with Vets. Trainers buying illegal substances off a guy who pretended to be a pharmacist with horses being doped and quite a few dying. Many of these are going to Federal Prison. The owner of the Meadowlands hired a private investigative firm who turned everything over to the FBI and many will be going to jail. COVID has delayed many charges and rumour is more trainers are going to be charged. The Meadowlands have banned quite a few known cheating trainers and now they al race in Pennsylvania which has bigger stake money races overall. Below is an article on original charges and just recently, 2 defendants took a plea deal which means they have ratted out the others. As far as I am concerned anyone, that harms an animal deserves a special place in hell. https://www.justice.gov/usao-sdny/pr/manhattan-us-attorney-charges-27-defendants-racehorse-doping-rings https://www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/two-plead-guilty-in-doping-charges/
  2. Over here in the USA, the trotters fetch top prices at Yearling sales over the pacers and the biggest race here now is The Hambletonian. It was 1.5 million but in recent years it is $1 mil. Of course it is so expensive to get into the game here. I would like to get back into it but you need to have a shitload of money. If I was going to buy one at the sales, it almost certainly would be an Andover Hall. He's 22 now so he is coming to the end of it but he has at last count 13 millionaires and 7 of those are females. He is having a big impact with his daughters. They are pure gold so if you have an Andover Hall mare, do not sell it. The same goes for Angus and Conway Hall mares as well. That breed has revolutionized the trotting game. If ever you get the chance to breed a Walner, DO IT. Walner was a trotting machine who had he not injured a suspensory, would have won everything. They are raving about the yearlings (Now 2 in January here). Of course Walner comes from the Hall family with his sire Chapter Seven being a son of Windsong's Legacy who was by Conway Hall.
  3. Here's a good one. Bob McClure is one of the best and won the Hambletonian in 2019 in his 1st drive in race. He's tops in Canada.
  4. There are others here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=mic'd+up+presented+by+infotrac
  5. Someone asked me on another blog if there are any other great drivers "Down Under":;.. I said that at least 50 could driver better than the Americans. One thing I would love to see back there is when there are mile races in NZ, they put the hammer down. This getting top the 1st half in slower than 57 or 56 seconds is embarrassing IMO. The horses can and should go much faster. IMO it would appeal more to fans if they ran quicker miles. Australia has the right idea with Menangle
  6. Dexter's mare blows Shartin away. 8 in a row and that is her last race. I would not be retiring her if I owned her
  7. So far. I live in Vegas where everyone has to wear a mask which helps. All these Trump supporting morons say they have the right not to wear a mask. I cannot believe there were 70 plus million who voted for that psychotic pile of shit. It is going to be a long time until January when the new president is sworn in. They are predicting 4000-5000 COVID deaths a day. Right now there are like 1500 a day and that was the result of 50,000 new case a day from 2 to 3 weeks ago. They are now way over 150,000 cases a day so in 2 weeks or so you can triple the death toll.
  8. I would think they should come up here and race. I have a feeling they will eventually do that. Too much money up here to be made and once thy acclimate here, they would run rings around a lot of them here.
  9. She has not looked right for a few races. Looked like she needed a race When she raced against Harambe Deo, he beat her easily. He's a good horse but not a champ. She was beaten by a really good mare last night that Dexter drove.
  10. Dexter has won 3 Breeders Crown's so far with 2 races to go. He has a huge lead in money won here now and will win the money title Undefeated Party Girl Hill trained by Chris Ryder finishes 3rd in her 1st defeat and in a huge shocker Tall Dark Stranger by Bettor's Delight who is going to stud now, was caught on the wire by a 203-1 shot Sandbetweenmytoes who I bet they wish was still a COLT as he is by Somebeachsomewhere out of Galleria who won 1.8 million. It was like 7 horses all crossing the wire together.
  11. Pretty sad. What a great horse he was. He still holds the WR over a 5/8th mile track over here which is 1:49 http://www.harnesslink.com/International/Sebastian-K.-dies-from-Colic He had blistering speed for a trotter. Could trot a quarter in 25 on his ear. Trotter a half in a race in 53 seconds. Had more speed than many pacers. Has yet top leave a champ at stud.
  12. Yeah, I watched Bettor Joy on TV. I forgot to post on here but I am sure you watched it. Meadowlands starts in like just over an hour. I am in Nevada so I tune into TVG.
  13. Party Girl Hill by Captain Treacherous. Got checked near the half as a horse broke in front of her, Dexter pulls her out from behind the breaker and she accelerates like a rocket and blows the doors of the field and wins by 11 lengths. 1:50.2 is great for a 1st time starter and looking at the way this filly goes, the colts are going to be in trouble. In her qualifier she ran home in 25.4 jogging and in the race Tonight she ran her last half in 53 and a piece. That is flying and this after getting a decent check.
  14. http://www.harnesslink.com/International/First-Lazarus-N-foals-arrive-at-Deo-Volente They stated, “Our two foals from Lazarus are stunning. They are smart, correct, and very athletic. They travel across the field faster than their mothers can keep up. We can’t wait to see them on the racetrack. Both babies are a joy to be around. They handle like a Porsche. We are very excited and blessed.”
  15. Spare a thought this family and the coronavirus Harness Trainer Carmine Fusco dies, days after his sister dies. Then today their mother died and a few hours later Vinny Fusco Jr (also a trainer) dies. The mother was 73. The two sons were 55 and 53. Sever others remained hospitalized in critical condition.
  16. All casinos in Nevada close. Vegas is a Ghost town. I went to Walmart where the entire population of Nevada seemed to be. No Bread, No meat, No Instant Mashed. No Can Vegetables and no just about everything
  17. He has not driven anything for at least a week and is not down to drive anything for next 3 or 4 days Did he take a vacation back home?
  18. I just read the indictment. These fuckers need to go to prison for along time. Horses dying and their bodies being disposed of.
  19. The trainer who won Kentucky Derby and got DQ'ed and then won 10 million in Saudi Arabia with same horse, Maximum Security. These people are fucked and this makes Inca down there look like a parking ticket https://standardbredcanada.ca/notices/3-9-20/indictments-unveiled-us.html Quite a few Standardbred folks involved including Nick Surick
  20. http://ustrottingnews.com/shartin-n-is-harness-racings-horse-of-the-year/ I bet her Kiwi breeder will be thrilled. Also Greenshoe Trotter of the year. He didn't win the big ones due to some really effed up luck but IMO he was one of the greatest if not the best. Many over here thought of him being better than Muscle Hill. Even Brian Sears who drove Muscle Hill said that Greenshoe had gears that horses don't have. One or two over here thought that he could trot 47 and change on his ear. How insane that would have been for a trotter to do that. The biggest mistake was he got a week or two off before the Hambo where he had to race twice. That was his undoing. He nearly broke three times and was too fresh. I think had he raced the week before, he wins the Hambo for fun. U guys need to get some frozen semen down there because he was poetry in motion. Just a machine with the speed of top pacers. A freak. His brother sold for 1.1 million and they are raving about how good he is going to be later on this year.

  22. Here is Jesse Duke's win tonight. He ran his last 1/4 in 26 flat. http://www.thebigm.com/video.aspx?id=252 Race 8 Also I see Chris Ryder has Tom Pontone as on owner. He being one of the owners of the great Muscle Hill when he won the Hambo.

  24. How good was he because he had 2 monster qualifiers, went off at 3/5 odds and came home like a "Hurricane" according to the announcer, Dexter just turned him loose and never pulled the whip. He flew home. I've been telling some of these idiots over here that Purdon has like 5 or 6 that are better than him, AM I right
