  1. Let it Ride just won for Dex in 1:48 4/5th
  2. Here are the fields for the races. https://www.phha.org/uploads/2/0/4/8/20486298/phl0529q.pdf They are up to race 6 at the moment
  3. This horse would destroy these speed horses over here like most of the Europeans do. They stay like Mother-in-Laws
  4. Amazing Dream was flat and had no finish. HOY (2021) Test of Faith ran a final Quarter in 25.3. Watch Me Now came up rail and won easily and was close to 18-1 odds and paid $35.80 for $2. It just goes to show that Test of Faith who is 4 is typical in that it is so hard to race against older when 4. Sort of no mans land. The Most Impressive win was a trotter named Ecurie D DK (Dk is for Denmark). He had two starts in USA last year and destroyed the opposition. He won those 2 and banks like 450,000 He qualified once since he raced last October and just stopped the clock at 1.49.1 which is a WR for a stallion on a mile track. Amazing run and he could go way faster. If you remember Sebastian K trotting 1:49 flat on a track the size of Alexandra Park. This horse is also trained by Ake Svanstedt who is head and shoulders better than any trotting trainer in the USA. He is now winning just about every major trotting race you can think of.
  5. She ran well without being asked. Having said that, it was a shitty field. Linda Toscano is very patient and is not asking too much too soon. I have no doubt she is going to beat the best mares over here though. I am looking out for Lazarus'es. Noel Daley has 3 and said two of them were hard to gait and they both were gelded. He has a decent filly. Any of these videos they do that have Lazarus offspring, I will post here for you guys.
  6. With Todd Mc Carthy driving. Dexter was on Watch Me Now in 1.51.4. Amazing Dream settled 3rd and ran well under hand without being asked for anything Linda Toscano is training Amazing Dream. If the video becomes available will post it here for you guys!
  7. But running a second quarter in 30 and change as embarrassing. 1:56 is way too slow for these horses. I guess I've been over here too long in the USA but they should be running the 1st half of miles over there in better than 56. Particularly on tracks like Ashburton and Winton, especially with the better class of horse. They have the right idea at Menangle and that is a perfect track for high speed but back there IMO, there needs to be more mile racing and there is no reason why some of the top horses cannot run in 1:50 at Ashburton or down south. Granted that bigger fields there are suited to longer distances for the most part but I always thought it would be better for the sport if they had more mile racing that didn't have pedestrian 1st. halves. I guess I am spoiled here when I see 3yo trotters running in 54-55 seconds for the 1st half mile routinely. As I said that startin gpoint is awful but running that second quarter in 30 plus meant that Oscar Bonavena had no shot. Had they run that in 28 or better, he wins for fun
  8. Impressive run 1st up. Must not have gotten sick when he arrived because he qualified twice in February and then raced right away. https://playmeadowlands.com/racing/live-replay-video/ It's Race 9. That is an impressive run 1st up as it was cold. Looks like he will do well here but I would bet money that he bounces next start although Linda Toscano is as good of a trainer as you can get. Well known for really giving her horses the best care. She trained Walner, who she said was the best horse she has ever trained and even better than some of her great pacers she has had. I remember someone from her stable saying Walber could have trotted 1:48 on his ear. Speaking of Walner, he stands for $30,000 US. If you get frozen semen offered down there, take it. In his 1st crop of 93 an incredible 72 raced and 58 were winners as 2yo. They are beautiful-looking animals, have great manners and they come out of their mothers ready to run.
  9. Will do!!!! I can't believe he only fetched $155,000 US. I will keep an eye out in the coming months when the baby races start. Many of the big stables go down to Florida and train over the winter.
  10. Also Ake Svanstedt imported this horse Ecurie D from Sweden and after being here for nearly 5 months, he came out and beat some of the best here in US in a total jog. He believes he can set the world trotting record of 1.48 4/5th very easily. This horse looks like a machine. I hope you guys enjoy these videos..
  11. She raced barefoot and Yanick Gingras didn't let her go in the run home as she wanted to pace with no weight. He said she could have gone 1.48 and change if he had let her go.
  12. Creatine sired the Kentucky Futurity winner today in Jujubee who had already trotted to a Meadowlands Track Record for a 3yo in 1.49 4/5ths. Today he won in 1.49 3/5ths and Andrew McCarthy said he trotted home in 54 second like he was going 58. Anyone who has Andover Hall (or Angus Hall , Conway Hall mares, they are gold mines for breeding. I notice quite a few Andover and Angus Hall's over there.
  13. Also noticing many of the Warner's are in bred to varying degrees because you cannot have enough Amour Angus in your pedigree. Walner's Great Grandfather is Conway Hall and some of the yearlings have Andover Hall and Angus Hall closer up on the dam's side. Thjis is the way to go, the off spring have more speed and can run the moment they hit the ground
  14. Next Lazarus not until #146 and the rest are on the later days of sale Surprised the Lazarus did not go for more. That's from a great family
  15. Thomas Pollack, Pennsylvania. The trotting side is just blowing away the pacers like they do every year. There was a beautiful Walner colt out of All the Time who won The Hambo Oaks, and her full sister was Ariana G who won that alos and nearly 3 million. Cannot believe he only went for $135,000 A Walner filly (Stunning good looker) went for $800,000. Nancy Takter purchased her.
  16. Out of a champion mare in Worldly Beauty by Artsplace, Won over 1.9 mil
  17. a 3yo Trotter by Creatine just ran 1:49 4/5ths I also think we just saw one of the fastest 3/4's in harness racing history in 1:18.3 t by Tattoo Artist and he walked home and won by a nose in 1:47.1. First Q in 25 flat and half in 52 flat. Nandolo was beaten a nose This track is lightning fast. Maybe the 1:46 for pacers is in danger
  18. chrome-extension://efaidnbmnnnibpcajpcglclefindmkaj/viewer.html?pdfurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thebigm.com%2FuploadedFiles%2FHandicapping%2FPast_Performances%2Fmxx0807p.pdf&clen=1071307 Dexter has chosen to drive Really Fast who ran second in his heat to Captain Corey. Quite a tough race as any one of 5 can win it in my opinion. The fastest horse who can close and can blister off the gate is Sonofamystery. If he minds his manners he could be very hard to beat. Captain Corey is also very fast and his trainer mentioned that he lost his long stride while he was growing and last Saturday when he won, he was striding out like he was when he was 2yo. This horse has one hell of a stride on him. I love those daisy cutters. It is interesting that the two yearlings that fetched the most 1.1 mil and 1 mil have not raced and done anything yet but nearly all the other high priced yearlings are in this race or were in the elimination. Really Fast cost 700,000 US, there is one in there that cost $460,000 and a few that cost over 200 grand. Trotters are king over here compared to the pacers and 9 times out of 10 the trotter fetches more than the pacers do at the sales. You can watch the races here but You would have to be up at 4 a.m to catch the early races.
  19. Dexter won with Manchego who beat the hot favourite Atlanta in 1:49.4 which is a stakes record and at least the 3rd time Manchego has trotted better than 1:50 Dexter won the Open Mares FFA with JK First Lady in 1:47 and change And what a clusterfuck the Meadowlands Pace was. The winner got DQ'ed and may have been screwed by Southwind Gendry who put in rough steps, went back on Charlie May the original winner who then caused interference to Dexter and a few others. The Ron Burke horse Southwind Gendry was pacing roughly and stopping and went back on Charlie May. See if any of you guys over there think Southwind Gendry and Gingras stopped on The 9 causing him to break and then cause the chain reaction The thing about Charlie May was his owner and breeder found that horse's mother in a Kill Pen for horse meat. He purchased her from certain death and then bred her to Mcardle. Apparently that is his 1st ever horse he has owned and he wins the biggest race in USA for 3yo and gets the shaft. It's hard to tell, IMO the Gingras horse went rough and stopped a little on the original winner who broke.
  20. Actually, she led, then 2 hole and pulled at the top of the stretch
  21. 1 qualifier then wins at 8-1 odds Todd Mc Carthy blasts her to the front then runs a slow 2nd quarter and wins in 1:49 and change by a good 5 lengths
  22. He is not even the best older horse here. There are half a dozen better than him. The Walner's are starting to run at the qualifiers. 4 of them won today at Meadowlands. They are all machines. Walner was a champion who was getting ready for the Hambletonian. He had already trotter 1.50.1 on his ear. He had a minor suspensory problem so they retired him. They sold at the yearling sales last year for huge prices. One of them trotted his last quarter in 27 flat the first ever run. We know what a great sire Muscle Hill is but the word is these are better with a flawless gait. Amour Angus revolutionized the breed over here with her sons Conway Hall, Angus Hall and Andover Hall and all 3 of them have left multiple sons who are great sires. You have Majestic Son down there but up here you have The Conway Hall line which is his son Windsong's Legacy who won the triple crown and died in his paddock of a ruptured aorta but not before he left Chapter Seven who left dozens of champions including Walner. Linda Toscano trained Chapter Seven who won over 2 million and said that Walner was much faster and bigger than his dad. Shit, I wish I had the money as they are trotting machines. Anyway, Andover Hall, Conway Hall and Angus Hall along with Andover Hall's sons Donato Hanover and Swan for All are leaving many top females and many of the big winners are out of Andover Hall or Donato Hanover mares If you art a breeder, you cannot go wrong if you have mares by Andover Hall and that line. So go out and buy what you can and breed them and keep the fillies as they are golden
