I'll be cheering on The Locomotive in the Trotting series. My Stallion is from the same family albeit before the branch went to Aussie.  He served Sundon mare last season resulting in a filly September.

Got the TFA, but 4th horse would have been much better  for me 
Also got the Barrytown/Clyde/ Rachmaninov TFA as well which I thought was short .

Jimmy Carter in today at Cromwell, as favorite, won this course in 2022. Hasn't had much success otherwise on grass . John Morrison driving him again.

Katherine nearly got another at Banks,  that 3.09 3rd at Addington few starts ago showed she's very handy. Those mares races are coming up and would not be out of place in the fields

I like Katherine for that race , pretty much same money. Sprint race so she's a good swooper.

Why should Rachmaninov have trial  before next start, it's a 250 plus  race veteran ?

The first horse outside America to run under the 2.00 minute mile . At Addington in November 1938 in 1.59.4 .
Remembering it was still hard to break 2 minutes even up to the 1970's.  unthinkable in 1938. 
And he did it without Hopples !! an amazing feat of training . what an amazing pacer . (Today 99 % of them still need hopples to keep balanced) 
One of the greatest Feats of All time in Australia and NZ by an All-time great..
