  1. Couldn't agree more - RIU happy to hammer little blokes but the big players go unchecked
  2. All horses transferred to his partners name Sheree Wigg - Tim now just the worker
  3. Easy one here Tim - Amateurs for sure ATC are being short sighted by not allowing Amateurs back. The Monte race last Friday night showed where the level is at in relation to being a betting race- poor.
  4. No big deal here folks - word is that Ray Green barn has a bit of a virus. RJ being very weary had taken his horses over to Telfer barn to work them Cheers
  5. 2001 br. mare - COVER UP (Marju-Undercover) 15.3hh This mare has been leased out for the last two seasons and has just come back to me after weaning. I no longer have any interest in breeding her but am hoping someone might. Predominantly a winter family raced successfully over many years by Trevor McKee - most will remember the deeds of the granddam PEEP (Wandering Eyes) 10 named foals , 9 to race - 8 winners including Petanque and Red Baron. Dam is UNDER COVER (Sovereign Prince) 9 named foals - all winners including Star of Honor 6 wins and High Grade 7 wins. More recently of note though is the half sister Corniche (Crested Wave) - now the dam of JEANNOT 4 wins (Gr.3 and Listed placed) and TRAPICHE 5 wins to the current season. Cover Up was a winner over 1400m - by 8 lengths. To date she hasn't had any runners to the track as the '08 colt died. Previous Leasee expects the '10 Align filly to race as a 2yo. Note I am more than happy to winter her over and have her ready for serving come September. She is currently in Pukekohe. If anyone is interested in looking at the mare or a full pedigree or if you have any questions please email me through Racecafe or call/text me on 021-588 958 Thanks for your interest Greg Shirley
  6. NZ Bloodstock do turn away horses from their Sales - but generally not for the reason given for Flashing Red. They inspect all Premier and Select horses on a number of occasions prior to the Sales - from about the previous Sept /Oct prior to the Catalogues being printed after Melbourne Cup week. They are usually withdrawn for conformation faults - eg offset knee/s. Note though the Festival Sale is open for all comers and horses aren't inspected - a quick look at that catalogue I see a tbred stallion that stood for as low as $500 has a couple of entries. Hope that helps Cheers
  7. Given that I work as a Starters Assistant and was attending another horse - part 1 is true Also that I work for the Steven Reid barn the other parts are true. Reidman was confident enough to put Tate on the horse - okay it didn't work out but thats racing. He has learnt alot and will get another drive when Reidman thinks best. If you want to come out to Puke and show us all how good you are then please do so - 220 Station Road next to the Track- Ill be expecting you - 8.30am ok? So get that one up ya Dickhead
  8. Tate was a total victim of circumstances - you may not have seen on Trackside prior to the mobile moving away Todd Mitchell's drive Colosa totally obstructed Henley Franco resulting in her rearing and sitting down on her backside. Her leg was then caught in the hopple until released by Starters Assistants. This would have unsettled most drivers let alone a young guy having a first drive on a hot favourite. If any one of you "know it alls" want to show how good you are at driving then turn up at Pukekohe tomorrow morning - it isn't as easy as the Herlihys, Butchers and Fergusons & Co make it look. Cheers
  9. Excellent Post Gray Fox - points well made Me thinks Kiah needs to get to an Amateur Course and see how easy he thinks it is - i can assure it isn't - the Butchers and Herlhys of this world make it look easy. You would looking "the idiot" pretty quickly Kiah. Sherriff you need to find another gypsy- bred and show us all the prowess you think you have (you didn't improve McKay an inch) but in all reality you're no smarter than the other p-smoking dwarfs that you belong to -its just you have a bit more money...and when I worked at a certain Tbred institution a few years ago YOU were considered a D...head and your numerous idiotic posts on the Harness forum only go to confirn that. Cheers
  10. I too have seen the Sherriff at the Park recently Gee and I thought he had seen the light and come across to "The Dark Side" ?? Maybe the only reason he's grumpy is because McKay ain't going that great and it's harder to beat the gypsies than he thought... Just a thought ....
