  4. Happens in every track in aus where there is a presentation. Good to see nz are catching up. And in summer most catching pens have taps and hoses for trainers to use while dogs are being identified. Animal welfare and all.
  5. Cambridge 700 cambridge 650 auckland 600 there is different on different websites. Auckland 779. Wanganui 305. Palmerston north 660
  6. Ashoka. Like a few track records in nz, there is some controversy as to what is the true track record. Thrilling brat has a time of 45.95 which was from a hand start. Thrilling quest had a time of 46.08. So depending on website you look at or who you talk to the track record is what ever you like it to be. . . As I said like many records in nz.
  7. The charge was failing to purse. But as the dog received a 21 day stand down due to injury, it escapes a ticket but still has to satisfactory trial before starting as per the rules. And for yankiwis benefit the 21 day stand down was given before the enquiry

That's exactly what I'm saying. Do you think Chris waller or lisa Latta runs their hands over each one of their horses everyday? What's the difference?

Yes there are rules. And as battlers and Yankiwi have stated they have been followed. My point is just because does not reside at the trainers kennels currently the dog can and is still being trained by them.

Horse trainers have satellite stables in different areas of the country, what's the difference. I've been foreman of kennels where the head trainer has been absent for periods for whatever reason, at no stage did they stop training the dogs, there's no difference in this case. The dog is targeting races in the cd, it's still trained by hart/taylor.
  11. Did anyone else have trouble nominating online for c2 375 heats at palmerston north on monday?
  12. So we can save money by not needing identification stewards then. If it's the complete responsibility of the handler to present the right dog then we don't need them?
  13. There was also a 2 dog feild at wanganui
  14. Yet still had the highest turnover. That says quite a lot. Punters do not want sprint races. Clubs are listening and are trying to promote distance racing. Let's hope it continues
