As long as he doesn't pick it at Invers ....................

I reckon Trackside are having a laugh, he gets worse. I heard presenter saying Kahlua Flybye was a fantastic bet at Winton today because The Whale had picked him as his best bet. I felt compelled to watch another red hotter down the track. I bet owners and trainers cringe when he selects there horses. It's really beyond a joke and he should be sacked. Get Jason Teaz on to give us a few selections.
Did it win?

Summers afternoon in the big smoke

Weather dramatically improved in Auckland this afternoon. Almost a summer's day! Understand still showery in the Waikato. All weather tracks notoriously fast when damp. I won't get wet from my lounge lol.

Don't see draws over 2200 will be a huge factor. Good driver, good horse should = good result

I note for the squad against the Pakis, Southee has been RESTED. For xxxxx sake. If they want to drop him then do so, but don't make up lame excuses. His workload of late has surely not demanded a period of REST

Sorry Blue you not wrong often - it was at Auckland 13 July 1974 Black Shannon.
But I can't take credit - Infohorse can reveal all sorts of answers. Incidentally (from the same source) Una trained 5 winners.

I see them pushing Dorothy Cutts as the first woman to win a tote race. Who was Una Anson?
Una Anso was a "hobby" trainer back in the 1960's / 70's. She didn't drive very often - I see from HRNZ web site she only drove 1 winner. Trained out of Otorohanga and if my memory hasn't abandoned me completely had a property on the main road to Te Kuiti just south of Otorahanga.

Probably cost too much change programme to make fine tuning. You got what you got. Like it or lump it. Etc Etc Etc
p.s. Yes, easier watch it from lounge chair than squint at puter screen.

Idol mate, not entirely sure that the best option for OTRoad, out of 3 off the barrier was to be dragged back to last, then down on the inner; I know he can blast the gate I've seen it, it gets bit disappointin to see all of the front line goin forward and me OTown gettin hauled back to last, he was never goin to get a go from down in there given those up front, just sayin.....
Cheers Iraklis
Perhaps with another toughie next week they didn't want to blow his guts out.

No - they do at Tauhkerinikau

Now part of Taranaiki Racing Inc. Trotting track was removed quite a while ago - harness raced on the grass. I think it was too expensive to maintain the track for just one or two meetings a year. Made sense and at the time was an addition to the grass circuit which was shrinking.

Like everything - you got what you get. After a while you get used to it. The Tab/Entain know this - there will be moans to start with then the clamour will die down to zero as everyone gets used to and accepts it. It's part of marketing "skills". Like abolishing doubles/pick 6's - the bitching didn't last long, did it?
