Alltheway.  What an uneducated statement.  1. Did she ever pull up?  2.  Did she ever turn her head?  3. Did she pass dogs?  4.  Was she ever out in front and then ease?   Explain your interpretation of non-chasing and what were the stipes going to put her out for as her racing pattern was consistent.  Because at the end of the day I would rather have and have enjoyed racing a champion that never did anything wrong and earned $140k in 20 odd races and only racing group or feature races.  And on top of that, she pulled the public in and was a great advertisement for the sport.
 
Now on the breeding side.  Yes, we have aimed to breed stayers.  Her dam line is incredibly strong in the staying ranks and has thrown more group winners in Australia and NZ than most dam lines ever. 
 
Yes John, you are correct.  We chose not to go commercial yet wanted to retain the staying strength as Overflo's mother (Flojo Tears) is also from a top staying dam line (Bears Tears), hence we are not diluting the staying ability but time will tell.  But she has produced 10 fantastic pups that run all day and they are only 12 weeks old.  We love what we are seeing already.  And as for Mum (Lady), she is our latest couch potato.

The outside of the track would be close to twice the radius of the inside rail which means dogs on the bends have more room to move and would run alot straighter on the outside lure.---with our lure a railer would still cause a problem from 5 as would a wide runner from 5,then what do you do with good honest runners do they get thrown in the 4,5,6 all the time???
 
In my opinion we need to worry more about the basics like track conditions and failing eqipment,which again is at a all time high---saftey for dogs,which nobody takes real serious,spend as little as poss as we need the money for the board and its staff to travel to all the freebees,-----who in all honesty would care if they did not turn up to group races as what do they do?,but imagine the extra cash for our dog saftey--guestimation  30 to $90000 a year plus what clubs would save with drinks and food,----how many would turn up if they had to pay for themslves?.---000000

Hay,have a good think about this,i believe our board members know what products are allowed to be used on bitches in nz ( ie testaprop to a certain level and certain tetestrone products that are ok in australia) but has this been communicated back to lp"s? O no we are giving our bitches women hormones with no testing on animals so nobody knows what effect this will have on future breeding
Maybe Paul Connor could now let us know now that he is not on the board,and if true we need some others to depart the board including our lp rep and our chairman if they have held this back from all LP's

Mike, the thing that was wrong in the first instance was wellington backing the two southisland clubs,paul was ousted in a ambush from a club that should have no say in this matter,,now i am not saying he is the right or wrong person to be representing the south,but at the end of the day it should be a south island decison,and the only way to do that is to have a vote of all south island LP's.-----Next you will have wellington getting these two club's to back them(as payback) to get rid of the CD rep.----As i say the simple answer is when there is a tie with clubs voting then put it back to a vote from LP's it effects.---------This is a pure reason that club's with out a venue to race should only have half a vote.

Lady(swift fantasy) has just finished giving birth to 10 healthy pups sired by overflo,she handled it like her racing style relaxed.

This survey they are doing is again a waste of LPs money and just a cover up,surely there lastest million dollar computer should have all this info as dont we pay to registar all dogs.----- And do they really think someone who does what they are trying to find out is going to tell the whole facts???

Pay the best curator in aussie to work on all our tracks,and teach and tell all our track staff how they will prepare tracks (you never did hocks on grass tracks,mostly only toes and minor injuries) has anyone ever thought about going back to grass?-- in todays world it would not be a problem (maybe a astro turf with rubber under as the new sport fields are going.)
 
Why dont they just go and get saftey pads made for all tracks with outside fencing?

Why dont they provide kenneling for all dogs at racing tracks ,instead of making dogs cook in the heat in trailers just because they want 12 or more races ?

Both Stipes should resign,the time they took was disgusting, to let race 11 come out with a enqiry in place was not on----it is clear these guys have no knowlege of the rules of greyhound racing.--------The race should have been a no race,dogs were affected,and the punters who backed the inside dogs should have been refunded.----it is getting to the stage up north where the confidence in the stipes is at an all time low.

By the way zzz,the facts are he was pissed, but not the way you think,he was pissed off by trackside and the hangers on that dominate it---i think you will find if he takes legal action against these false accusations more will come from it..-----the disappointing thing is people like you that think you have power jump on board,spouting without any facts. -----and by the way Steve Davis has done more for racing than you have ever because he thinks off others not just himself,and his mirror would only be twice the size of yours.
