For some reason Auckland and cambridge seem to get only 11 races why?.....I would like to hear from other trainers to how many off there dogs are missing out.....a lot off people seem to think it is a lack off dogs i think it is a selection criteria problem up in the north and if fixed they would easy get 12 races plus..... please let me know and i will go in to bat...They should not have woken the sleeping grizzly bear....

Gary go into greyhound data and view the chat on it.......We tried it and believe bitches lost guts and lengths...it is a womens pill with no testing ever been done on bitches so results will be different...another welfare issue

And wow..what about the million dollar lab in nz that the last failure head off the riu promised....oh shit were is it now and were is he.......one word integrity.......there is no such word in our sport......if you cannot trust the riu you can not trust anyone.

Sheepy agree......He spat the dummy when the dogs were taken off him and should also be charged for with holding evidence why not do it straight away.... both him and the riu look like dicks...why 6mnths later.....but hay what about the rest of them are the riu going to investegate ???????????????????

How are the pups Mike ?....We lost Tommy ( Peking Tom ) to cancer last week ...it had got into his lungs...The pups we have are by atomic claim and are 12mnths and look super and we also have a nice boy from dolly scramble at the same age.....

Yankiwi ....you pick on all this shit that makes no difference to racing...what about the lure driver at wanganui ,he drives races for his son ,daughter and inlaws,,,,now don't get me wrong i think he is one of the best,,but under our rules it should not be happening..but it is.

Ray i think this has got a bit out off kilt as there is two sides to every story ....breeding is fine and to breed a group winner is special ...but to make a living trying to breed is not a winner....for trainers to survive they need imports ....i think as breeders if you paid training fees on all your dogs you would struggle to break even and the trainer would struggle more......I thought i could do it but it has been a disaster without imports to boost our income....i don't think you will ever see the day dave fahey does not have a import as they do make up 90% of group winners..sure gary cleeve has been super , but then he owns most of them himself.......that will never bring new owners in to the sport the only way they can get involved is imports..as no one is going to sell them a nz bred dog with ability at the right price

This comes back to our awards.....surley all divisions should have winners but should not the top trainer be awarded on group one wins as greyhound of the year is...animal welfare should dictate this.....ie karen walsh wins 6 group ones but the top number in wins trainers win none who is the top trainer ?????.....its time our awards reflected the best not the most..

Ray i think you have a more vested intrest to get rid of imports so they wont get in your way with your breeding so you can win group races....we have done both and to tell you the truth if you want to eat you bring in imports......if you are retired like you with a income that dogs wins don't effect you then breed because at the end of the day there is no more satisfaction than winning a group race with your own breed...but don't bag imports....Kath and i are down $80000 in the last year with our breeding ( and i am not saying it is right or wrong as we have won 3 group ones and plenty of racing series with them ) but when you rear a whole litter and keep them we all know the cost...from last week i have stopped breeding ( maybe one litter a year , and i have some nice broodies ) and have 6 imports coming in the next two weeks to make sure we can eat and pay for the other dogs we have......i remember Jimmy lee from perth telling me 7 years ago you are either a breeder or a trainer and if you are a breeder you will go broke , so stay as a trainer and you will survive.......did i listen no.....

..Tamper it is not , the handler prefers the rug to be at the front of the dog , there is no rule in greyhound racing that tells you how a rug should be worn , so how is he tampering with it ?.....now if he cut the rug that would be tampering....so if i reajust the muzzle on a dog i am tampering with it.....dont think so.......

I think you need to look at grnz again... chch tried to run a bitches only c5 race and were told no from above..so the only way you can run these races is by making them special condition races....as long as the lois henely memorial has been going it has and i understand will always be selected on club criteria.....Gezz sairy she ran a super race nailed at every point and ran down 2 dogs in the straight.....You sure you arn't gary one because you are starting to sound like him.

On kiwi dogz we have a trainer admitting to using tetesterone on there trial dogs...sorry they should get out now,,,,why?? it is illegal wether you use it on trial dogs or not maybe it is more rampant than we know....sheep tetestrone is not swabable but it is preformance inhancing.......chezz time to get of this boat it is sinking

Common guys i scratched 11 dogs not one....look i did not win this because of my stance on the track,i believe it was because the riu did not give me natural justice and it made up its mind before hand that i was getting 28 days....it is a win for lps that we do have rights under the rules even though grnz do not want us too,that's why they have buggered our rules to give us no rights.....someone please tell me what did i have to gain scratching 11 dogs...3 box 1s ?

Agree,but they should of been there to fight the case as they are the ones that charged me....in the final wash up i think it was one of the reasons that help me win.

Sad....We struggle to get c0 middle distance races anywhere..7 is a good field size....but i guess when you have people breed sprinters and are now trying to get 410mtr races at palmy going so they can clip the ticket for there nz bred dogs bonus and run for middle distance stakes we all know where we are headed...
