theres been worse. without naming names i can think of one horse whos recently broken maidens after i think 24 starts, and hadnt finished better than 5th prior. end of the day its up to the trainer and connections, its there horse after all

When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of MR LEGS O Bosson could not offer any explanation other than that his mount never travelled comfortably throughout the race and failed to respond to his riding. He further added that MR LEGS had endured a hard run at its previous race start on 15 January 2011 which may have some bearing on the disappointing performance today. Trainer Shaune Ritchie reported to the Stewards that it is his intention to give MR LEGS a let up. A post race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities
