Whilst I remember, I'd just like to give a shout out to kiwi Jaylah Kennedy, an apprentice in Aust that I hope will get a lot more rides, tough going up against all those Metro top riders and her ride on Belle Plaisir today at The Valley was top notch.

Hats off to Jayne, with her overview of Johnny Rocker before the race, she said he looked well, ready to run, he was fast and they were giving him every chance in the way he looked today.

Good thinking Chestnut but I don’t think even Razor could coach the Crusaders and the All Blacks at the same time.
I’ve got high hopes for him with the ABs.I'm not suggesting he should ... plus I don't think he could and wouldn't want to as he knew the players that would be leaving ... one was a pathway to the other and he left when the Crusaders were going to field a team not up to his previous line up .. what I'm saying is.. that anyone could have coached the Crusaders in the past ten years Don't you think?
When given control of the under 20's it was a disaster ... when he inherited it.. they won.... next comp when he had to select from high schools and clubs ... they finished no higher than 6th I believe...
I'm not a Razorconvert ... I hope to be proven otherwise and I'm sure the players will do their best, but what he will add.. I don't know.
Forgot to add.. that I think Leon McDonald will probably save him He's class.

Yes indeed, John, go Wellington, the Hurricanes are playing very well !
More noticeable though are the Crusaders 0-4. Gotta feel for the new coach, he was on a hiding to nothing taking over from the new All Blacks coach.I think that Razor saw the writing on the wall. He knew the players that had taken him through his career till then were leaving, no more free ride to greatness . and he called time... kudos for his great timing, but I feel for the new coach.. he has a lot of injuries on his hands but I think he'll do okay as time goes on ... every team has gone through the rebuilding and they have a solid base camp to recruit from

Let’s do this Maria. I don’t think in all our years on this sight we’ve gone head to head in a comp but I know what you can do so hope it’s not this week with your A game. Don’t worry taking on Feilding,I’ve moved
I think you're right Al ... even in the super comp days.. can't remember us clashing swords No time like the first time!

Obviously you are suggesting the Cox Plate.
Tonight my [retired] ex trainer who was a real horseman, suggested that she was a Cox Plate type mare.
I didn't say it, but those NH raiders these days are bloody hard to beat.
The NH are, but I think they come from very similar track conditions. I would love to see them give her a good lead in on the course. Track conditions do vary.. a bit like playing a cricket match in other cities and then playing at the Basin with the tides, and the water table under the pitch.. you know, or you don't know or you're good enough that it doesn't matter

Well that was 7 years ago and I don't see what it has to do with current Newshub employees nor help me think that either Guerin or McRoberts know much about racing.
Okay.. you are welcome to your thoughts and beliefs.. I dont agree but then that is what forums are all about We all have our own experiences and perceptions

Yes, I have. Are Guerin and McRoberts newshub employees?
Ooh you've updated your response. Mike McRoberts fronts TV3 news and yes I believe he could be someone that NZ racing/Entain could employ .. he speaks well, researches well, is trusted, is socially interactive/attractive and as I said.. he reminds me of Phillip Leishman, who was just such a gentleman.
