  1. Don't they all ? Just some are more accurate and entertaining robots
  2. Whilst I remember, I'd just like to give a shout out to kiwi Jaylah Kennedy, an apprentice in Aust that I hope will get a lot more rides, tough going up against all those Metro top riders and her ride on Belle Plaisir today at The Valley was top notch.
  3. Hats off to Jayne, with her overview of Johnny Rocker before the race, she said he looked well, ready to run, he was fast and they were giving him every chance in the way he looked today.
  4. He comes across as a lovely young man, very wise for his years.

  6. Well there is an interesting quandry I am born and bred Wellington... Love the canes Have lived in the Waikato for 22 years... wouldn't call it home... Wellie is always that to me.. but have been to a number of Chiefs games... I'm happy to have a foot in each camp
  7. I'm not suggesting he should ... plus I don't think he could and wouldn't want to as he knew the players that would be leaving ... one was a pathway to the other and he left when the Crusaders were going to field a team not up to his previous line up .. what I'm saying is.. that anyone could have coached the Crusaders in the past ten years Don't you think? When given control of the under 20's it was a disaster ... when he inherited it.. they won.... next comp when he had to select from high schools and clubs ... they finished no higher than 6th I believe... I'm not a Razorconvert ... I hope to be proven otherwise and I'm sure the players will do their best, but what he will add.. I don't know. Forgot to add.. that I think Leon McDonald will probably save him He's class.
  8. I think that Razor saw the writing on the wall. He knew the players that had taken him through his career till then were leaving, no more free ride to greatness . and he called time... kudos for his great timing, but I feel for the new coach.. he has a lot of injuries on his hands but I think he'll do okay as time goes on ... every team has gone through the rebuilding and they have a solid base camp to recruit from
  9. You're welcome to join the drenching line on the farm tomorrow morning nomates
  10. hahaha I agree .. LT is incredibly consistent - well done you! .. and considering they are in the Waikato and obviously drinking the same water as me...I'm watching
  11. Hey Steelo is our pocket charger... don't you mind about him John ... he's doing his bit behind the scenes and when the time comes he'll slice through like steel on leather

  18. The NH are, but I think they come from very similar track conditions. I would love to see them give her a good lead in on the course. Track conditions do vary.. a bit like playing a cricket match in other cities and then playing at the Basin with the tides, and the water table under the pitch.. you know, or you don't know or you're good enough that it doesn't matter
  19. Okay.. you are welcome to your thoughts and beliefs.. I dont agree but then that is what forums are all about We all have our own experiences and perceptions
  20. Ooh you've updated your response. Mike McRoberts fronts TV3 news and yes I believe he could be someone that NZ racing/Entain could employ .. he speaks well, researches well, is trusted, is socially interactive/attractive and as I said.. he reminds me of Phillip Leishman, who was just such a gentleman.
  21. Link to your other question
  22. HI Leggy, we are talking about potential folk from Newhub that could be beneficial to the racing scene as front persons. I take it you have read the thread?
