To Hesi you have written 1810 posts on this forum the only place you will get any action is the Commerce Commission write to them and complain about the change of track conditions when there is no reason for it you are right the TAB should refund bets where track conditions are changed.I would say that is the only way you will get the lumbering organisation called NZ Racing to get into action

From a top class punter Brodie how many horses that you own? were entered for Palmerston North my guess is none because you can not afford to race any.Also with the size of the fields you should be able to back 9 winners and come out a $1 up for the day

What a fw comment from a nobody explain Karaka Millions day why don't you send in your CV to the Auckland Racing Club to be the new track manager no doubt if you got the job the track would be a lot worse

To insider why cannot you put a case to the Commerce Commission for a refund of your bet due to mislending information in relation to the track conditions(ie you would not have placed the bet if the correct track conditions were shown)This is happening all the time and no one seems to be or want to fix it there is no accountability especially by the stipes or the club.If you won your case I bet there would be changes very quickly.

The last two times Cup was run at Avondale there was not many people there and it was getting worse.You could guarantee rain for a Saturday meeting like the Counties cup who is going to go to Avondale great track but crap facilities

Hello Tom I have been to the gallops 3 times and the trots 2 times at Reefton and love the meeting but why is it that of the four coast meetings you have the smallest crowd even with free entry compared to the trots where a lot more seem to attend.You are right about Kumara been a social occasion out of the four meetings I would rate it number 4.

Brodie.This is about the 500th time you have come on here and told us that you are restricted by the TAB what you can bet on harness racing it is a wonder that you have not taken adds out in all the daily papers and told the whole of NZ .Everytime I come on the harness site and reading your comments it is like a LP record going around and around. Every Junior Driver and 95% of the senior drivers should be made to watch Mannings last 2 drives on Arden Rooney.Agressive and if you punted the horse you were not going to be wondering if the horse was trying she bashed it like no NZ Driver would and won.It was typical of what you see when you watch 2 and $3000 races from Australia they try our drivers are just to passive bring back Neil Brady.And what do our weak stipes do a petty cash fine of $1000

After watching the above race you have to ask yourself were they trying.Starts like lighting and ends up 3 out 3 back then what does he do lets another horse who comes forward in the 3 wide line to lock him in(This gives him the perfect excuse) gets clear at the top of the straight not a lot of effort by the driver come NZ Cup he will not let another horse come up to lock him in but will go forward and if he has to sit outside the leader and I will bet he will be a lot closer to them when they line up in the run home up in the cup..But of course the stipes do nothing and while the trainer will be happy ordinary punter burnt again

Every major cup race in NZ some fool like crusty grizzly comes on and states that is a poor cup field but does he give us any answers no.Tell me what you expect some English or Japanese horses who is missing from the current crop of stayers that should be there.Last years winner 3rd in the Melbourne Cup the year before winner had won the VRC derby before you come on this site crusty grizzly have your pea sized brain actually think is this a another dumb comment i am writing

What do you fools expect the track at Avondale is great facilities are shocking tenth world and i do not know what the present caters are like but prior they would have rated worst in the country You guys keep on and on about the Auckland Racing Club but why one of the best run clubs in NZ and their facilities leave any other club in NZ for dead..When Avondale used to run the Cup hardly anyone went tell me why because the facilities said it all

For many years this club puts up a good stake for the sprint race and is invaribly rewarded with a smail field this week four starters .How much this race over the years has cost your club in turnover and profit is anyones guess. Scrape this race and instead put on a $15000 two year old race all trainers are trying to get their horse into the Karaka Million and the field is picked on stakes earned instead of having to travel up north trainers would be much happier to race locally and for a decent stake you should atrract a decent field and a much bigger turnover

Woodville fields get worse every year simple solution previous day 4 harness races with full fields held at Tauherenikau why not hold 4 harness races at Woodville the harness boys would be happy for another crack and you would have big fields and more races

What are you all talking about Jan 1 the biggest crowd i have seen on course for years even the last few years the Auckland Cup was run on Jan 1st the crowd was dropping of boxing day was great ok the weather gods helped.Where can you go where it does not costs money all of you live well in the past when was the last time you went to the big courses in Sydney and Melbourne and did not pay dollars for entry and food.Wait till you see the financial results for Auckland their profit will be well up unless they put you guys in charge.If you start bleathing about food and entry charges it means you are the last of the big spenders and if you use your brains stand outside the members entrance to get freee tickets hopefully.The last time i went to Kurow 4 years ago $10 to get in for what free water and facilities that do not compare to Ellerslie all you guys can do is put Ellerslie down the their profits wil continue to rise wake up to the real world.

The presenters on trackside would not know a $20 winner if they saw one especially Greg O'Conner at gallop meetings.Riccarton on Cup Day has a long history of long priced winners but do the presenters who have done numeous meetings from this venue think about that.I would assume that Greg O'Conner would have had the 2year old winner because it was first pick by 100 tipsters and Jacka Justy in the Dominion handicap would have been is 18th pick out of 18starters is first pick Stent out of the money.

Which world do you live in Kakama the real world or Dream world have you costed this out millions and millions and you would probably be the person who would not go to the new course because it is to far out of town.The facilities at Riccarton work well for 21 out of 22 meetings apart from Cup Day maybe you should give any more of your bright ideas to John Key

Lets get things straight Mr Evans i have follwed harness racing for some 46 years and for 5 years travelled all over the country punting my point is this Ricky May did not move a inch especially in the home straight.The same happened to Changeover some 5 years ago at Alexander Park when he was a $1.40 favourite.If Ricky May was following the owners wishes and not driving to win do the rules of harness racing state he can do this i would say not but i intend to read the rules indepth.What did you expect them to say on the box seat they would probaly be out of a job if they spoke the truth.The common reply when someone goes on about this type of issue is we are not drivers and do not know what we are talking about BS what i saw was fact he was given a run at the punters expense and what i cannot understand is the stewards and intergity unit are also meant to protect the punter also but they donot.Life goes on and nothing is ever done and i should have a bet with the TAB that Ricky May will sit at the back of the field in the NZ Cup and not move to the last 100 metres that would be a loser
