  1. Is Free, having a clean out...to good for the tip I think.
  2. Good home wanted: Old Jacinto Vasquez racing helmet, quite likely the one that he used when riding the mighty Ruffian. Is in good old condition. Also size M unworn with $49 tag still on, 125th Kentucky Derby shirt.
  3. What an impessive job he's doing as a sire, a good Australasian...
  4. John & Karen Parsons love them, they now have at least 3 fillies. They go along nicely & have awesome big ears!!
  5. A good look at how the well spoken young lad is getting on over there. He's a real credit to his parents. When I started working at Brownies many years ago as a shy 17 year old.You could gaurantee if your horse dived forward while walking off the hill,Brett would of stuck his stick under it's tail! James dos'nt look quiet as myschevious as his old man so lucky 'paddys'!
  6. Today has been too long coming...I saw many happy horses, riders, trainers AND owners. So hey, lets make it a regular occurance!
  7. How is Zenyatta bred?? Did I see in one of her wins that she's a big up-standing filly?? Cheers
  8. I went to Ashford stud not long before he was retired from duty.LOTS of 'body amour' was used when doing anything with that 'statesman'.Even when he was very elderly it was necessary!
  9. I see my favourite author has died aged 89.What a remarkable man he was with going from the army to being a sucessful steeplechase jockey then brilliant author. It's good that his son Felix can continue the good stories.
  10. Thanks for your info reng. They had big hopes for the Sadlers Wells filly Blue Grass, but unforyunatly died of colic.Hopefully Buenos Airies and Bastet can continue her sucess as broodmares themselves.
  11. I've just read the neat story of the freak, Might and Power. At the end it say's that Benediction was euthanased at Coolmore in April 2007.Early 2007 she had her 13th foal,a colt by Rock of Gibraltar that was called Big Hope.Does anyone know if this colt did/is anything?? What a wonderful broody she was.
  12. On Boxing day at Ellerslie last year I could of got an awesome photo, if only... Katie Lee & Megapins were in the crossties next to each other. Two nice natured, little, grey Pins fillies. Megapins went on to win the Wellington cup & Katie Lee...
  13. What hot property that sire is.A lovely type of sire that leaves good looking speedy, big race winners.
