How do you know he is innnocent? He remains innocent in the eyes of the law (and reasonable people) until proven guilty.. He has been charged with a crime - as has, for instance, Manu Vatuvei, and until that charge is withdrawn by the Police (on behalf of the Crown), we should all keep a open mind. The public is entitled to know who has been charged - but if a Judge orders ongoing name suppression there  had better be a good reason for it - in the Millane case it was because other serious charges were oending,  - knowledge of which may have jeopardised the accused's right to  a fair trial.

Firstly the judge has nothing to do with the timing its the photo finish opperator.
The time for Pedro Lee of 25.61 is a crock of shit!
In race mode the Brooks timing system only shows 3 digits on the the semaphore board however still shows 4 digits upstairs.
The board on track showed 25.5 for Pedro Lee and at the photofinishers end showed 25.59 on the timing box.
This was reported to the stipes who one agreed the winning time must be less than 25.59 as its generally the chest of the dog that triggers the timmer at the finish NOT the lure.
When the time of 25.61 was presented it was argued that the time simply cant be slower than when the dog triggered the timer as if its the chest that triggers it on track the nose is ahead therefore faster.
The correct time for Pedro Lee should be around 25.56-57.
Best case they could have simply gone with the 25.59 that the photofinish opperator presented however they chose to go with bullshit hand timing off a tv that doesnt have cameras on the line.

I downloaded all four heats as MP4 files just after they raced and agreed exactly with the first three heat times. Heat four was triggered at exactly the same point as the first three heats and on the finish line and three times I got the same exact time of 25.61 and also agreed with the second dog of 25.82. I was aware of the 25.5? showing on Trackside but all I could do was advise on what I actually got. Using a stopwatch to check dog times just isn't reliable enough as you just can't stop the race at the exact start moment and finish moment.

That is frightening when you think about it. Probably over half of the dogs racing in NZ are other peoples castoffs. 
It's a ballroom, the $500 can be payment for the privilege of racing here or whatever as long as they go back. It should definitely be a charge to the importer or in some cases exporter from Aus. The $500 charge at present is a fraction of the actual cost of GAP. Think about it, cost to NZ industry and saving for Aus industry. Maybe Aus could also put another levy on all pups born there that is forwarded to NZ when the pup is exported here

Will greyhound racing stop if no imports come in NO  it won’t . People are showing to much tunnel vision and this is why we have a problem. I’ve brought over imports and have litters on the ground so I think I can see both sides of the fence. What is easier, bringing in a import for sure. What is more cost effective bring in an import a ready made winner. Now we have a problem and we always will with gap they are never going to be able to re home all the dogs born or imported in nz. So what do we do ? They have already put costs up to bred a litter they have put restrictions on breeding. But you can bring in 240 imports a year . With the cost of breeding and the restrictions in place that has already cut gap numbers down , has importing 240 dogs a year cut gap numbers down ?  Ok so you say no imports no c5 520 race what a lot of rubbish with out the imports a 30.70 dog around Auckland will make top grade. People will still bet on them. The wastage of these nz bred dogs that can’t break 31 or 18s will be able to race earn a be Mary. The cream will rise to the top. You will be able to get more people into the industry.i could go on but like I say people have tunnel vision and you won’t change there minds
