  1. Your views on School Principals and teachers are not new to us Tubby as you've gone on about them for years and years. Same with WINZ workers, CYF workers, etc, etc. According to you all those employed in these different professions are ****wits. So many different people Tubby, but only one common denominator and that is..............YOU.
  2. I understand the writers drift, but the e.g. she uses is a poor one. The "very white, blue eyed" Paekakariki Express may have a dubious claim to being Maori, but there is no doubt about his Samoan heritage. His grandmother was full Samoan. Not a great example to use as he clearly is not "Very white" and "blue eyed".
  3. He won't have got his food grant because I'll bet he's already used up his quota. There's only so much food in a Food Bank and if you let some families come back every 2nd day, stocks would soon be exhausted. The man needs to go to a budgeting service.
  4. If you are wanting to sign a petition you need to KNOW how to spell your name Claude. A cross is not sufficient.
  5. I have noted a number of times on this forum that Maori currently have a claim lodged (2001 I think) for the air. It's based around the land being theres and without the air, nothing on the land grows. It would affect anything that travels through the air such as airwaves, planes, satellite signals etc.
  6. Test match rugby is doing my head in at the moment. I love my rugby but the International stuff is such a bad advertisement for the game. I watched three games on Saturday. The first was a great little game of age grade rep rugby, with some great running play and 8 tries in all, six by outside backs. Then I went to a Heartland Rep game, where the standard was poor but the boys tried their best and there was plenty of excitement. Then I had to sit through the scrappy, Ref dominated, kick fest that passes for International rugby these days. It's not nly the AB's cause I turned over to the final 10 mins of the Wallaby game. That went penalty, lineout, not straight, scrum, penalty, lineout, not straight, scrum.... . Wayne Barnes was murdering a decent exciting finish. If the only rugby you're watching is the Internationals, then your probably feeling like turning to the netball. But don't be deluded, the decent exciting stuff is being played down at your local park.
  7. I notice he hasn't replied so I feel the need to go into bat for Blunt on this one. You'd have to question who has the problem when a poster who can't spell, uses a profanity when referring to someone he disagrees with as a "mental retart" ("retard", I assume).
  8. I had similar thoughts when I heard of this settlement. Tuhoe appear to have had some legitimate grievances, but they never signed the T of W, so it's not a Treaty settlement. Or is it? I had thought that all the settlements were based on the T of W and this payout to a non signatory muddies the waters for the casual observer. I'm sure there is someone who can explain it all clearly.
  9. My one question would be. "Did this man contact his Lawyer, prior to contacting the Police". I'll bet he did.

    Guptill not out

Yes Blunt, it's yet another new dawn. How many is that we've had now?
  11. There is no one Australian aborigine language. Each tribal area has it's own. Besides that who cares what Australia does. They do things their way we do things our way. More likely they might consider making Lebanese compulsory.
  12. A gold medal at the Olympic games (not the para Olympics) remains the ultimate and as such Val or the canoeist win this year. Lydia's time will come.
  13. Zelda is correct to take the piss out of scrum collapses, resets, penalties, because they are blight on the great game (although still pref to "pretend scrums" in League). However kicks are an integral part of rugby union and nothing wrong with them. Box kicks, chip kicks, line kicks, Wipers, Gary Owens, grubbers, etc. Poetry in motion, I love them all. Without scrums and kicks it pretty much becomes touch rugby with the odd "smash em bro" thrown in (although with the Warriors .....it's just touch rugby).
  14. He needs to come over now to have him ready for the world stage in Rio, 2016. There's no benefit in him staying at the Warriors. They're a rabble. He needs those rough edges smoothed off and a bit of discipline instilled. He'll get that in the Rugby Union 7's environment. Gordon T will do the job. Can we get Benji Marshall as well?
