  1. Those that have worked in the same businesses, including but not limited to NZRB, ANZ & BNZ where these two folk worked should be mindful they are entitled to protection under The Protected Disclosures Act should they be aware of information that needs to be disclosed relating to the ongoings of these people in very cosy relationships.
  2. Ashley has made front page news in The Press today. Great to see TV3's Firstline promote this on there show amongst what's in newspapers today.

You got the first word right but not the second. Watch the replay
  4. Is there not a set timeframe for these charges & hearings to be heard within? Most Tribunals have a standard timeframe of 28 days and to be heard within 3 months. We would expect with Kristy MacDonald &, wasn't it, Tim Greeson having a role in the setting up of the JCA to have included things that like with there "legal expertise" & backgrounds.
  5. Rumpole you'd be on a way better wicket than most people's dentists that get around $10 a minute to install an ordinary filling taking on CEO role. Did anyone work out the hourly rate Chris Bayliss was on?? At a guess $1 million divided by 52 weeks a year divided by approx 5 days a week, divided by 8 hours on a good days work = in excess of $3k an hour if we have worked it out correctly. Had he continued on as CEO for 5 yrs he would have cost us what is supposedly is same amount saved from doing away with Trackside on Free to Air Freeview TV. A very obsence & unacceptable salary if you ask us.
  6. Two years is the norm for the younger generation these days Trump. Those that spend around 2 years in the same role & move onto something different are considered to be more motivated & goal achieving. Unless one is self-employed or in a niche field we have reservations about those that work in the same place, especially certain roles in the public service for more than ten years without accountability or a role change.
  7. Do the NZRB & NZTR have a policy on use of twitter / Social Media for personal use during working hours? If so, what is it? If not, why not? Ms Cairns made it to the A List pages at the Moet Party on Norrie Montgomerie photography website. Plenty of info on Google, including under news and images when you do a name search. Haven't looked through Google.co.uk but bound to be some from her time there as well.
  8. 35 yrs old in 2011 hesi according to the 10km women's race results. http://www.nz.srichinmoyraces.org/races/auck/june11 There's always a post somewhere online with a person's age on it
  9. So who will be the next new CEO? Will it be a local, like Theresa Ghattung? Or another with a UK, Australian or banking background? Perhaps the TAB should allow us to take bets on those that apply.
  10. My how things have & haven't changed.
  11. Wonder if there have been or are any nervous employees at the moment?
  12. Barely over two years down the track Chris Bayliss has gone. How did he rank? Who's next?
  13. Will we find out how much Lou Vincent got off "bets" off matches tonight on 3rd Degree on TV3?
  14. Update that to 5 winners for Danielle today. Brilliant effort all around, especially those horses that carried her to the winning post.
  15. A lot of banking personal, including many managers, are listed on Verify NZ for dishonesty offences...theft as servant, unlawfully accessing computer systems, theft as a person in a special relationship, etc, etc Says a lot including that they will be caught & brought to accountability.
  16. The great thing in todays day & age is we have the internet that is easy enough to access information about others even when they have left their country of origin or gone elsewhere...just go through Google of that other country to search it. There was a case in the media recently of a Doctor that thought he could escape penalties imposed by moving to Australia that got outed. It is easy enough to keep tabs on the dishonest ones & out them for the rot they are. Most of us will recall what Bronwyn Pullar achieved pulling the right strings as a whistleblower. If not, do a Google search of her name.
  17. Well done Danielle Johnson on another 4 winners today at Avondale. Does that equal or better her dad Pete's record number of winners at Avondale?
  18. Home ownership by Maoris should have increased considerably with all the Maori Land settlement payments. Ditto, the number on welfare assistance by the same race should also have dropped considerably. Or are they exempt from not been entitled to welfare assistance even though they've received in some instances a considerable sum of monies? If those figures haven't changed there is something seriously wrong with NZ society and how it operates.
  19. It would be interesting to know how many unoccupied homes on Census night were because they were used as P labs...and no longer habitable. And where are those that occupied them prior to been unoccupied are now?
  20. According to the Informant website, Thomas has been taken out of a coma. That's a positive and great news to read.
  21. Some of us expect Professional Standards of those entrusted to Managerial positions, although we are well aware that there are selected ones that never live up to there expectations. Some are also known to change there names around, use maiden name or use middle christian name and move into another position of trust. It pays for any employer to do basic background checks & also that of those that provide " references" for the prospective employee/ consultant. It will be of interest to know who Chris Bayliss will use when applying for a new role when & if he does. It would be of interest who others that have also gone before him, who they too used as "character references" in there subsequent employ/ roles. As an aside we were party to a conversation with a Vice Chancellor of a well known university who said exactly what you have Jess re the family reasons etc, rather than the truth. The VC himself said quite openly that they use a standard press release and provide excellent references as it is a quick way of removing incompetent personal, regardless of what went on. No doubt all these Press releases from internal Media Spokespersons are from a standard " template" that is readily available on Google Images. Such a shame the conversation with the VC was not on a recording device to be placed in mainstream society as it most certainly showed up his true colors and how our University Personal also operate. The same University has had staff involved in fraudulent conduct to which he said, " We were thankful the Herald only gave it two lines of coverage a couple of years ago"...
  22. If Chris Bayliss has acted unprofessionally or unlawfully a reasonable person would expect him to have been given an " instant dismissal" & not an option to resign. We appreciate the fact that Human Resources staff have certain legal obligations & procedures to comply with but it comes across as an outsider looking in as all been a bit fishy to us for an industry that punishes those that may have committed an offence against the " Integrity of Racing" or any other unlawful act.

Von Cettes, we agree with you about Sam Tompkins & been overpaid. We would have expected those in charge would have learnt there lessons by now about paying anyone such an excessive salary after the super league fiasco days here in NZ.

What two words did Peter Wallace, #7, for Panthers mouth off at 75 minute?? Isn't hard to guess, is it? Would've expected those playing sports that are filmed for TV would recall their every move is recorded.
