Very sad news. I worked with zzz at Friday Flash, a very passionate person about his racing. Liked to have a joke every now and again and was always a pleasant person to be around. Rest in Peace zzz, Harness racing has cetainly lost a true gentleman and fan. Sincere condolences to his family. :flower: :flower:

Hang on a sec there lovely zzz.... I never said this job was with NZRB.... I do know its with NZTR..... yes I have made an error in thinking that it was Guy's job... I shall say five hail Mary's to pay for my sin... My statement referrring to better decisions was saying hope they (as in the powers that be) make a better choice than those that appointed Brown....I do realise that these are not the same people... didnt realise I had to spell it out... was a generalised comment... We all know how you feel about Hansen.... but you surely would agree his time at the helm of NZRB was better than what Brown has done???

I see his position is advertised on Seek..... is he leaving or is his term up??? See they are offering $200k + for it..... who would be a good replacement? Hopefully they make a better decision with this one than they did appointing Brown to NZRB.... bring back Hansen!

Credit betting by anyone who works for the NZRB is instant dismissal, so an agent who takes a bet,an operator who takes a credit bet its goodnight nurse... its against the law.. its in all the contracts....

Yes and yes , I've just come in to withdraw some funds from my TAB account. Can I have your ID then?? Well I lost it.....then she explained that a memo from the top said ID had to be seen for every withdrawal....no "well known" or ID on file acceptable. A rule came in September 2008 that forbid the TAB for having Customer ID's on file (HOLF - held on local file) for accounts etc... there were too many customers who did not have valid/current id's on file and also a very high risk to customers if TAB's were broken into and the file stolen. It doesnt matter who you are every time you do a withdrawal your ID is recorded - as is your ID if you do a deposit over $ 5000.

It's not just Mick thats been caught....There seem to be a few agents lately who have been caught with credit betting....... big brother is always watching...... the outcome will always be goodnight nurse... there is no option B.
