Trentham figure of 8 is special as is the Riccarton course with Cutt's Brush and Jumbo etc.

Perhaps Tony, (and possibly George too), could spend a couple of years doing the oncourse interviews etc instead of the race commentaries, replacing the current painful lot....?

He My Fav Caller Big Time 

I struggle somewhat with this sort of criticism. The guy has been a stalwart of CD racing most of his life and if you think his calling is less accurate than when he was younger just watch the tv or the race live and work it out for yourself.
Tony will no doubt know when his time is up and personally I don’t think that’s the case yet. Go for as long as you want Tony!

Sad to see and admit as Tony was always my favourite caller, but I think you may be right. 
The final 100m it becomes more noticeable as hes stuck looking back at the 5th and 6th runners as the winners are already crossing the line not getting a mention in the call.

Just watched R2 at Hawkes Bay. 
A pretty average call from T. Lee 
Appears to be struggling with remembering IMHO

I do too, why should Tony Lee give up race calling just because some keyboard warrior with nothing better to do with their time than hide behind a computer keyboard and post negative comments about him on a website.  He hasn't done anything wrong, and he still enjoys what he does.  Tony and George Simon are legend racecallers here in NZ, and I enjoy listening to both of them.

I think they were referring to the mile at Te Rapa up to 2100 at Avondale  Baz but clear as mud

I'm a Pitmans fan if only because dad Michael,is one of the few trainers who uses facebook on race day to give punters a heads up on his runners. He gives an open and honest assessment of their horses chances and racing would be in a better space if more trainers took 10 minutes out of their day to do the same.

Well that is great news and a great effort by Andrew Carston especially considering that he started out on his own without inheriting or taking over anyone else's stable. Pretty sure that a lot of his stable are other people's castoffs and not too many blue bloods or expensive sale purchases either from what I have observed.

My first thought is that I wouldn't breed from her. She's has a decent pedigree, but she's had a number of chances with high-class stallions (Savabeel, Pins, Ocean Park twice) and not thrown much (one of the Ocean Parks was good). Her Tivaci 2yo is untrialled and already in the South Island. From a commercial point of view she also doesn't have a yearling coming through who could improve her record.
Pedigree-wise, it's wide open without much inbreeding or linebreeding up close, so you could go anywhere. Nothing jumps out at me at all. Her dam's best one is by Pins, but there isn't a lot of Pins blood around at stud. Ocean Emperor has Pins, but would double up on O'Reilly and is by Zabeel (while Heartfelt has thrown a poor one by Savabeel). Keano is by Pins from a full sister to O'Reilly, and isn't very good. Dial a Prayer is worse.
In two years' time her Super Seth weanling may have done something as a 2yo which would make breeding from her more obvious. But for now I'd say she's had her chances.
 
Gun to my head, Sweynesse and Vanbrugh are great value just in general at $10,000. Contributer and Turn Me Loose are also general great value even up to $18,000 this year, but I'd be looking for something a bit speedier (and cheaper, though there isn't a stallion worth using that she deserves to go to IMO) for this mare. The Ardrossan she's carrying isn't bad. Santos could be worth a throw at the stumps.

100% agree has the world at his feet and lets hope he keeps his feet on the ground really rides well.
