2 winners today, all his team are humming along nicely. hes come back, and hes having a real good go. 
 

Watching the build up to the start of the race and couldn't believe my eyes. All the horse's were at the starting gates except 2 horses from one trainer, with the jockeys waiting for them in the mounting yard, they finally arrive 1 minute before start time.
BUT on arrival at the starting gates those 2 horse's were re-saddled swapping saddlecloths
But as they were re-saddling them one horse already loaded (first starter) went off in the gates
But was then vetted, clearly horse wasn't happy after being unloaded from the gates, But was allowed to race
But the 2 horse's being re-saddled were then returned to the birdcage, Must been some doubt on whether they had the saddle's of the wrong horse's,  along with the saddlecloth
But 7 minutes after race start after some horse's spending at least that time in the starting gates waiting on all the drama's behind the gates, they were finally dispatched  
What a disgrace, so many need people involved need to be accountable, will they???
Personally think the race should have been abandoned, a fair start, i don't think so,  some of those horses were in the gates far too long while some were still walking around behind the gates. The inexperienced horses in starting gates didn't get a fair go, THE race should have been abandoned
Don't know where to start with so many wrongs being made, totally unprofessional by all involved, how we meant to keep owners, punters etc in this game???
On that note I am considering with drawing my interest in NZ racing horse's here. 
 

Instead of bullying Leo Molloy and chasing after other innocent racing participants.....maybe the R.I.U could investigate the real criminals that blew the $50,000,000 and signed up to the annual $17,000,000 extortion cost. Backhanders anyone? They all deserve one literally!

These scions of the racing industry were (and are) perfectly at liberty to make donations in any form they wish provided they abide by 'the rules'.
Donating to the 'Foundation', set up outside 'the rules' and seemingly organised as a slush fund to help Winston out - $5,000 for a day at the Wellington Races, eg - makes them complicit in some very dubious activities.

I’m definitely not a WP or NZF fan but I respect the rights of others to support whomever they wish, on whatever terms they wish, if they’re using their own money.  
I personally have supported two parties this election, with a considerable amount of money, but that’s my right, and no one else’s business, isn’t it ?
If you disagree please explain exactly why 

As the saying goes, “Garbage in -Garbage out”. Nothing new there that’s going to turn a stuffed Industry and betting model upside down.

At least she was a member of the select committee that considered the matter. I don't think Saarah Dowie was. So if McKelvie thought so that's a bit of a worry. Not that I think there ended up anything in the Act that will assist racing. If he thinks that as well, then we have a greater worry there.

I actually think the fix has to come at prize money level. The rest will follow.  Increase prize money significantly and the below happens:
less horses sold overseas
bigger fields better quality 
Trainers can charge more and earn more winners percentage 
jockeys can earn more and don’t have to go to oz
more owners bred
More owners get involved 
more owners buy
the quality of product improves and attracts more punters dollars
It goes on and on, but prize money is the most important thing

I think the least thing Winston deserves is abuse from the industry he helped.  Not sure others would have found the $72M. And make no mistake, I mean no mistake the TAB was bankrupt without bail out.

Winston bailed out Racing, RITA and the TAB in the last few months.Have you all forgotten that???? Do you really think any other political party in NZ would have done that??? And also lets not forget, Labour allowed it to happen with Kieran McAnulty Labour Wairarapa of course being an ex TAB bookie. Worryingly ACT want the money paid back, and National have never seemed to care hence appointing the likes of John Carter and Nathan Guy as Racing Ministers over Ian McKelvie who is now their spokesman by way of their last man standing policy.
