He got tipped out of the cart at the start and was left standing with the reins in hand.
Hopped back on, caught the field, and won by a neck!

Why not Super Don ? at least look at where the USA and the world is at the moment . The media and the CIA have much to answer for . (1) The CIA  influenced the election vote by concealing the hunter biden truth and by perpetuating the Russia collusion  myth and the effects are a disaster . (2) Not finishing the wall , over 2 million illegal entrants in the last 12 months and drug deaths have topped 100,00 a year (3) If Trump was in power the Ukraine war wouldn't have started , Putin has no respect for biden ., bidens promise to fix covid was also a failure (4) The world energy crisis wouldn't have happened , the USA was energy independent when Trump departed now they are importers . These are big issues which Trump had under control and all we hear from leftys is we don't like him and we don't care about results and if he had been elected they would  only have to suffer him for another 2 years then he is gone by law  but now they have potentially 4 more years to enjoy his presence .  Trump or DeSantis??  either will do just fine .

Interesting days racing notable  for some poor performances countered by some really good ones.
Dunn stable had an average day  and whilst All Stars won plenty a number of their horses went poor, Self Assured,Luvstruck and Franco Mac.
For mine run of the day was Old Town Road and drive went to Bob butt who pulled their pants down on Manhatten.. Mind you Blairs drive on Mystic Max was pretty good as well

A special win that was. Over the shorter trip 2200m off 55m . holy molely not many (if any) could do that.? Takes a Nz Cup winner to pull that off. Good on him 🏆

Speaking of Peddling wares just saw the Paxlovid ad on the Box quoting effiacy of 89% which was claimed in a trial of a few thousand before the so called 'Omicron variant' which has since been discovered to be significantly less effective(45% at best) from NIH Studies from June this year which also states given the nature of evolution of the  'Virus' was to be expected....How much of Tax payer money is being pumped into the Dubious Pharmas Coffers, promoted by people within NZ funded by these organisations.

A good friend bought into BD Joe when he was first syndicated. I think he owns half the tail, but what a great ride his ownership has been.. We thought Self Assured may have been vulnerable on Friday and if BD made a clean beginning - his last couple have been off the unruly - he would be a live chance of causing a upset. We gleefully took the $5.50 the TAB offered and he delivered without too many moments of concern. We also took the 61/1 odds the TAB offered on him back in August for the Cup and he's now into 9's, which strangely feels like a win, even though the race is a month away. Of course anything can happen between now and the Cup and he's certainly no good thing should he score up behind the tapes on cup day. But if he does and luck goes his way the champs will know he's there.

The rule changed to it being perfectly legal as long as it was done outside a week of racing and done by qualified vet if my aging memory serves me correctly. The stupidity remains that anyone can use it the process so its not giving any one stable and advantage

agree hard to believe results last night especially for the All stars. Their horses usually race hardened at home plus trials .Can only say it will   get better from next week .!!! If TAB comments correct big bets on Akuta,True Fantasy.,Self Assured (up to 5 figures ) all lost . (chock biscuits at coffee break all next week for TAB . lol.)🐎
