I'm with you TDO I was in Aussie when they had a ring-in, I will never back a galloper again, another time there was a card counter at the casino and that put me right off casinos.

I'm with you Stables take the $30000 approx. to run the Box Seat and give it to the 3000 races run each year that's about $10 a race and don't worry about the harness stalwarts who love to see their programme on trotting each week.
Soon we will be like harness racing haters on another forum who couldn't bring themselves to mention Dexter Dunn's magnificent achievement's.
If you don't like Box Seat on the top right of your remote the off button is there push it.

    Trump to win again .
'' Houthi rebels launched drone attacks on the world's largest oil processing facility in Abqaiq, Saudi Arabia and the major Khurais oil field on Saturday, sparking huge fires. OilPrice.com suggested oil prices could spike above US$100 (NZ$156) a barrel in the wake of the attacks when oil markets reopened, up from their current range of US$55 to US$61 a barrel. A barrel of oil equals about 159 litres, which means each sustained US$10-rise in the price of a barrel of oil could be expected to push up the price of petrol, diesel, jet fuel and other derivatives by an average of about 10 NZ cents a litre. ''
Trump has made the USA self sufficient in oil and gas , he allowed fracking ensuring America is great again , this attack on the Saudis will have almost no impact on the USA and may be a bonus .
China is dependent on oil imports just like we are so this development puts him in a very strong position when fighting the trade war with China . Lets see how this develops but if the Saudis  can't get production up and running fairly quickly then Trump wins the trade war easily , China will be begging to do a deal .
If he gets a deal with China then the Dems are even more stuffed than they are today .

By Letter to the Editor: Michael ‘ Hockey stick’ Man
A couple of years ago now, I pointed out that Professor Michael “hockey stick” Mann was gonna be in big trouble. Through the Canadian court system, he had sued a real scientist, Dr Tim Ball, for libel because Ball had publicly claimed that Mann “belongs in the state pen, not Penn State”. In particular, Ball dismissed Mann’s celebrated “hockey stick” as a deliberate falsification of the global temperature facts.
The hockey stick, in case there is a reader unaware, is the graph of precipitous global warming over recent decades, which is the chassis upon which almost all of the global warming hoax wagon has been built. Mann’s iconic hockey stick has been relied upon by the U.N’s I.P.C.C. and Western governments as crucial evidence for the claim of man-made global warming.
But Mann refused the court’s order to release the data from which he drew the graph.
As I promised, the Canadian Supreme Court has just recently, after Mann had exhausted all attempts to escape the order, ruled in favour of Dr Ball, not only dismissing Mann’s libel suit but also ordering full costs against Mann. One can expect that the legal fees and court costs for this case, which has been ongoing for years, will amount to millions of Canadian dollars. Mann has not only been publicly disgraced as a fraudulent scientist but, presumably, will also be bankrupted.
Mind you, these global warming alarmist “scientists” receive plenty of money, and that’s why they’re in it.
Mann also initiated libel suits against others who publicly exposed him. It can only be assumed that he will now abandon those suits, making substantial payments to the defendants. Mann’s career and life are in tatters.
And the global warming hoax is now also in tatters. Although with Mann refusing to reveal his data, there has not been an actual exposure of the hockey stick’s deception, there is no conclusion to be drawn other than that the data is either non-existent or is unable to stand scrutiny.
But ‘Comrade’ Jacinda and her band will no doubt carry on regardless, destroying our economy and our lifestyles, because this will be swept under the carpet. Have you seen anything on the tv news? Have you read anything in the (mainstream) newspapers? No. They didn’t want to write about it a couple of years ago, and they’re not writing about it now.
Best that you all spread this around as widely as you can, and alert your politicians that you’re awake to them.

Michael Mann the hockey stick graph guy looses .
Michael Mann Refuses to Produce Data, Loses Case
Some years ago, Dr. Tim Ball wrote that climate scientist Michael Mann “belongs in the state pen, not Penn State.” At issue was Mann’s famous “hockey stick” graph that purported to show a sudden and unprecedented 20th century warming trend. The hockey stick featured prominently in the IPCC’s Third Assessment Report (2001), but has since been shown to be wrong. The question, in my view, is whether it was an innocent mistake or deliberate fraud on Mann’s part. (Mann, I believe, continues to assert the accuracy of his debunked graph.) Mann sued Ball for libel in 2011. Principia Scientific now reports that the court in British Columbia has dismissed Mann’s lawsuit with prejudice, and assessed costs against him.
What happened was that Dr. Ball asserted a truth defense. He argued that the hockey stick was a deliberate fraud, something that could be proved if one had access to the data and calculations, in particular the R2 regression analysis, underlying it. Mann refused to produce these documents. He was ordered to produce them by the court and given a deadline. He still refused to produce them, so the court dismissed his case.
So it seems another climate fraudster has been flushed out

This is not the first time that Climate change activists have become trapped in ice. It happened last year as well.
