I guess when tiger was winning all the time the winning prize should have been reduced.   That not right..i want to have the big carrot like a big  pick 6.same as group racing.the challenge is to bring low stake clubs like Cambridge to better levels .maybe knock 300k from head office and add 1000 to 300 races.but keep the carrot.

If it don't fit in my back pocket with half a pencil behind me ear no go.kids we used to imitate the old timers and it was a habit till the demise of the old best bets.of course a transistor was good so u could listen to the double races from other meetings,the  bloke withh th transistor was king.when me and a matee got one at about 15 being the little shits we were we were surrounded by punters and we turned it off with a furlong to run.the  mob none to pleased.we didn't do it again. Too scared.great days but well gone now.some say I'm still a little shit.hard to argue
 

Not a lot but to be fair decent turnouts and good facilities so they did okay.lots of faces not seen for years which was great.gr8 atmosphere but problem is how many come on a regular basis.how 're we get them back.it is very hard to promote week after week.most I talked to  were more likely to return if if was Saturday night.auckland traffic.in the old days on Fridays many would go home from  work and then come to the park.traffic stops that.so how about Saturday nights returning.they definitely deserved 7.5 out of 100.

The reason we are exporting if u talk to owners or trainers is the handicapping.personally ihhave one going on a 50 50 tomorrow,prob 4 in the wings.one has a rating near 60 here . In Australia where he is going he is on 40 on a minimum 30..anther who is mid 50s is 31. And so it goes on.we discourage longevity and aged horses.i know another who ran 4t h Friday going to Melbourne on deal.i h have a contact searching for older horses and plenty of them .He just laughs when u get same points for winning 20k race as u do a  7k.its all very well basking in he glory of the big races which were amazing but the reality day in  day out of having a good supply of horses relies on like with like.im personally getting rid of decent horses because if they are  not on a  realistic rating or close wasting my time.suits seem completely unable to deal with it.

U right 100 percent .destroyed the good punters with small pools,only way u can get 9n is get a nice clip on fixed odds.othher pools betting against yourself especially with big takeout.still what would we know the suits have all the answers. Unfortunately no going back. I so enjoy watching late night trifecta pools.cop 3 twenty dollars shot and u get the pool .Haha 150 bucks

I did it for a bloke 40 years ago.hed give me 4k a week and I used to have a bloke  on the tote.he would not stamp the tickets and would give him the money  so it balanced.gave the bloke the tickets and he d give me 400.good wage then. He eventually went bankrupt .He owed the tax dept.haha.

When he is on his game no one better.personally day in day out Zac purton is for me the man.jao has some brain fades.this season the one who is riding good but finding it hard to break thru is b shinn.with the 2 above so dominant hard for the rest.our kiwi trainedboys c ho and k leung are very competitive. Tough school.

I like the idea of ads on back of buses but not sure cost.with Auckland traffic plenty of time to read them.could put promos etc on there.example all tap beer 5 bucks 5 to 6.

Even better.my only wish is to attract a few more people and keep them.when u have Aidan Ridley on  not knowing they were on.well. He mused about the domestic meetings thought Auckland was on Saturday.we have to get out there we have a superior entertainment product than galloping.top facilities night entertainment  etc.
