Most big teams won't bet unless there is a rebate. It is the largest part of their profit.

All the guys I met were having a great time.we need more of them.its an entertainment business I walked the dog ponsonby road midnight.noisy there. Go to head quarters on viaduct best joint in auckland it was noisy there. We don't want the trots to become a morgue or a library.it was always going to be a difficult night..young people want noise action and we want them. it is a tough gig Auckland trots.trying to get people there 40 nights a year. I bet if you put the same rock band at the same place every week it would the crowd at the last one wouldn't be big. We see restaurants go broke every week. Where it is due.scott plant new board member massive investment in game has pushed for amateur racing at park and might have done the job.passionfor the game can't beat it.

Costs are the killer.stakes decent at the park.personally vets are massive expense for me.its te unknown.we know feed staff etc then bang a 10k vet bill which I experienced recently.the vehicles and so it goes on. I doubt many professional trainers in th he north are making anything but wages and probably under minimum if you count the hours .i don't know the answer.but getting harder and harder to entice owners. i see great operation like stone wall still trying to flog shares in febs yearlings.this is a terrific operation top trainer staff etc produce winners week after week.so what hope everyone else.
