So are you saying that if Tiger Tara was in same position as Brilliant Strike,he would still have driven Serena the same.I would say probably not, therefore my belief is it was team driving

Different senario - swap TT and CM positions around and would Smith have driven the same - not in your life. Pathetic drive (deserving to be sacked), unrehearsed but team driving all the same. How the stipes did nothing is beyond belief.

Venus Serena cant have taken too long to recover as is in at Methven.Wouldnt think they be starting off 30m in a 3000m race on Grass unless 100% recovered.I notice Gavin has said that he was told to go forward and make a race of it.

Riding the favourite at Riccarton, a jockey was well ahead of the field. Suddenly he was hit on the head by a turkey and a string of sausages.
He managed to keep control of his mount and pulled back into the lead, only to be struck by box of Christmas crackers and a dozen mince pies as
he went over the last fence.
With great skill he managed to steer the horse to the front of the field once more when, on the run, he was struck on the
head by a bottle of sherry and a Christmas pudding.
Thus distracted, he succeeded in coming only second. He immediately went to the stewards to
complain that he had been seriously hampered.

Lamb is the worst starter Addington has had and he should not be doing the job. He urgently needs retraining or replacing. Starts have become a joke since he was appointed starter and to compound the problem he was later appointed a stipendiary stewart too, which means that he is unaccountable for his numerous mistakes.

Just another P. Lamb shocker Brodie. Lamb has officiated over countless poor starts but few as bad as today's effort. I agree he should not be a stipendiary steward as he is unaccountable for his actions; I also believe he should be replaced as starter. He is the worst starter I have seen in over 45 years in game.

I first heard about this a couple of months ago but had since been told that the action to evict had been retracted and was very surprised when I was told that some committee members have resigned.Being a local I do know quite a few of the committee and I will say that Rob Harnett is one of the best jokers you could ever meet and is of the highest integrity and the fact that he resigned makes me think that club has a lot to answer to.

Habibi flies Kiwi flag in top company at Woodbine           Fiona Goodall Habibi winning at Ellerslie prior to her sale in 2013.
Former New Zealand mare, Habibi almost made the perfect return to racing at the elite level, charging home for a fast-finishing second to Interpol in the Group I Northern Dancer Turf at Woodbine in Canada..
A last-start winner of the Listed Flaming Page Stakes, the Ekraar mare stepped back up to Grade I company for the first time in two years on Monday [NZ time] and did herself and her connections proud.
Interpol took command at the top of the straight and kicked clear, but Habibi dashed at him with a powerful finish.
Ridden by Luis Saez, the only mare in the field weaved her way through traffic and accelerated powerfully down the straight. Habibi's big finish came up just short, beaten by half a length.
"Ekraar's Kiwi mare Habibi beats favoured European boys at Woodbine over a mile and a half," Taranaki co-breeder and part-owner Heather Crofskey. "An awesome second after having to shift ground in the straight."
The winner was ridden by Emma-Jayne Wilson, who had been aboard Habibi in her previous start.
A winner of the 2013 New Zealand Derby when trained by Donna and Dean Logan for breeders Peter and Heather Crofskey, Habibi is now trained by Mark Frostad for Augustin Stable.
Habibi was purchased by Pennsylvania-based owner-breeder George Strawbridge with breeders Peter and Heather Crofskey retaining a minority share for the rest of the mare's racing career along with and Pam McIntyre.
Strawbridge has extensive thoroughbred investments in the United States and Europe and has raced international Group I winners including Silver Fling, Tikkanen, With Anticipation, Montare, Lucarno, Turgeon, Treizieme and Forever Together and bred top-flight performers Selkirk and Collier Hill.
He is also a major jumps racing enthusiast and raced the former champion American steeplechaser Café Prince.
Ad Feedback Habibi was prepared by the Logan stable to win six of her seven New Zealand starts and ran third for the Ruakaka trainers in the Group I Vinery Stud Stakes at Rosehill before finishing fourth in the Group I Australian Oaks at Randwick prior to he

Enormously thrilled with her run. Outside draw didn't help either. Mark Frostad says she is thriving and a completely different horse to when he first got her. She quivers with joy when getting onto the track now. To see her back is a huge thrill. Think I'll have to make the trip to see her now.
