Sunday 31st October 2010 - Foal Walk & BBQ A MINI-BUS will be available Pick up: Avonhead Tavern, Withells Road, Christchurch Time: 9am / leaving at 9:15am As there is a lot of traveling between studs we have booked a 37 seater mini-bus for those wishing to enjoy the day without all the driving. Advanced booking of seats on the bus is appreciated as this will ensure that no one is left behind. The bus will pick up from the Avonhead Tavern at 9am (leaving at 9:15am) where we shall travel to Berkley Stud for a 10am start. You can leave your car in the Avonhead Tavern car park (please park on the left hand side of the car park). The bus shall leave Greenacres approx 1hr after the BBQ so that everyone has time to relax and chat. It is anticipated that we shall return Christchurch by 4pm. The schedule of events and approximate times for those wishing to go straight to the studs (please note that each studs foal walk will not start until the bus has arrived): 10am : BERKLEY STUD FOAL WALK Berkley Stud, 140 Hudsons Road, Greenpark (Please park on the verge in Hudsons Road) 11:30am : LONG ACRES STUD FOAL WALK Pinegrove Road, Darfield (approx 8.3km west of Darfield) (Please park on the verge in Pinegrove Road) 1:30pm: GREENACRES STUD FOAL WALK & BBQ Watties Road, Amberley (first turning left north of Amberley township) (Please park on the verge in Watties Road) EVERYONE IS WELCOME, bring the family & friends and have a great day with us. The FOAL WALK IS FREE / BBQ ONLY $5 (per meal) / BUS ONLY $10 (great value) Please Note: The BBQ & Bus will be subsidised by the branch an indication of numbers for the BBQ would be appreciated.
