Do we really need another $1m race, could this money not be better spent in the lower grades to try and keep people in the game with a better return. I know that maidens has been increased but maybe we could add some more 2000 + races to keep stayers etc as that is what we breed best

I don't see the point of closing Timaru as there are no land assets that can be sold as it is equestrian reserve, better off developing as it has good consistant surface, better than many in the SI
