Sorry Guys ,but there are a few points to highlight here. Assuming you are immune from military attack either accidental or calculated while flying over a War Zone would for me indicate that it was more expedient to save fuel and expenses ,rather than protect your human cargo from possible harm. The Airline was already under the bat from the disappearance of its other plane and in financial strife before that. Terrorists????. Bullshit. This is nothing more than continuing sectarian violence. Terrorists normally put there hand up and gloat about their victorys and bloodshed in the name of a God far removed from the one who came to promote peace and love for your neighbour. I also have lots of Dutch friends ,and Australian and indications are that they are mystified as to why the plane would have flown over that area given the circumstances. Sad state of affairs,and I only hope someone is held accountable,but it smacks of a cover up.
