There was talk of LTF retiring to stud after the Interdoms, but the owner wants to carry on for maybe another season, but until year's end at least. The Leap To Fame - Captains Mistress baby next year might be nice.

I'm looking forward to the race old mate. Leap To Fame is the best horse. In my opinion, young Hart is the best front-running driver in Australasia. He'll be hard to beat on that smaller Brisbane track with his driving skills. Leap to Fame and Captains Mistress should battle it out. Bay Of Biscay and Max Delight are top horses too. The draw will probably decide the race old mate. 

The final field lacks true depth, but enough permutations to keep any analyst interested - especially before the barrier draw.  

Agree Dynamite, it's all very well runnin up to him (LTFame) passin is a whole other matter 😆 he's got a kick that any big block chevy would be proud of when challenged.....still, if the Mistress is up front an truckin harrrdddd, he gotta get near her let alone pass her.....🤣 it's gunna be a ripper can't wait.....

Just battled into 4th after sitting one - one. 
the winner a very good horse, and the trainer from Victoria is a trotter Specialist. ( He won the other heat last night too ) 
A year ago GUS was 4th in the Interdominion trot Grand Final at this track,  to this same winner in Arcee Phoenix who won easily with 2 kiwi trotters 2nd and 3rd. ( Arcee Phoenix also won the BIggest trot going in NZ last year the TAB trot ) so might not be any better than him would be my assessment.

In my opinion, it's about time that the horse is also disqualified if a driver is suspended for whip offences. I think these guilty drivers above should also have been fined as well as six weeks suspension. None of these drivers have suffered any consequences at all in my opinion. Six weeks suspension so what, they are bloody amateurs for crying out loud. Mr Kriechbaumer won the drivers' championship despite him thrashing a horse. Rules broken but no real consequences. Joke. 😡
What about the horse? The rules need changing.
